In Loving Memory of Carnell Williams

Carnell Williams, age 80, passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026.

Carnell was born on November 5, 1945, in Arkansas to the late Walter Williams and Everlean Williams. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents.

A proud American, Carnell honorably served his country in the United States Army for two years. During his military service, he demonstrated exceptional courage and dedication, earning the prestigious Purple Heart for his sacrifice and bravery.

After returning home, Carnell became a familiar and respected figure in his community. He was best known for his passion for youth sports, spending many years as a Little League baseball coach. He found great joy in mentoring young athletes, teaching them not only the fundamentals of baseball but also the values of teamwork, respect, perseverance, and good sportsmanship. His positive influence touched the lives of countless children and families throughout the community.

Carnell was a kind-hearted man who enjoyed spending time with family and friends. His generosity, quiet strength, and willingness to lend a helping hand will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his brothers, Wardell Williams and Theudis Williams; along with many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts.



Though Carnell's physical presence will be deeply missed, the legacy of his service, compassion, and commitment to his community will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched.
