Dorothy Ann Pintar passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her family.

Dorothy was born on June 25, 1936, the daughter of Arthur and Inez (née Hautala) Hendrickson. She married John L. Pintar on November 24, 1956, in Painesdale, Michigan. After 57 years of marriage, she is now reunited with her beloved husband, as well as her brother, Arthur (Mavourdeen) Hendrickson.

Dorothy’s home was a place where people naturally gathered—a warm, welcoming space filled with laughter, conversation, and togetherness.

She had a special gift for entertaining and truly cherished bringing family and friends together. Holidays were especially meaningful to her, with Christmas and New Year’s celebrations becoming treasured traditions that many looked forward to year after year. Whether it was a planned celebration or a simple visit, time spent at Dorothy’s home created lasting memories for all who walked through her door.

In the summer months, she found joy in heading up north, where she continued that same spirit of togetherness—relaxing on the deck, enjoying the outdoors, and taking in the peaceful beauty of the lake.

Dorothy will be deeply missed by her son, John (Paula) Pintar; her daughter, Jill (Mark) Beyer; and her grandchildren, Eric Pintar, Erin (Zach) Pintar, Johnny Pintar, Brittany Beyer, and Lindsay (Justin) Beyer. She is also survived by her brothers, Harold (Jane) Hendrickson and John (Sandy) Hendrickson, along with nieces and nephews, and many extended family members and friends.

Dorothy will be remembered for her warmth, her love of family, and the many moments she created that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Memorial donations can be made to meals on wheels. A private family service will be held.

Gilbert “Skip” Arthur Krause, Jr. passed away at home on April 16, 2026, at the age of 89.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Ronda; his son, Greg (Darla); his daughter, Kris; two grandchildren, James and Kaleb; and his great-granddaughter, Ella. He is also survived by his brother, Richard (Brenda), along with many other cherished family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jill, and his parents, Gilbert and Anne Krause.

Gil grew up in Hartford, Wisconsin, and graduated from Hartford High School. He went on to earn a degree in chemical engineering, studying at Carroll College and Illinois Tech. He and Ronda were married in 1964 and began their family while living in Hartford.

A man with a remarkable spirit of adventure, Gil’s journey took him from Wisconsin to Iowa and then from California on to a 20-year chapter living in Africa. After a successful first career as a chemical engineer, he launched a second career in 1998, setting up a computer lab for DaySpring School in Botswana. He deeply loved working with the children and staff, fully embracing the adventures that living in Botswana provided.

In 2006, Gil and Ronda founded Macha International Christian School in rural Zambia. What began with just 10 students in first grade has since flourished into a school of 265 students from preschool through seventh grade. Gil truly enjoyed the Zambian people, his adventures in the bush, and traveling.

Upon retiring from Africa, Gil and Ronda returned to Hartford, Wisconsin, where their adventure first began. They continued to enjoy life's adventures, sharing cruises and trips with family and friends. Gil lived out his life's priorities: a steadfast faith in Jesus and a profound love for his family and friends. He is now at peace in his forever home with Jesus.

Judy Kuehmichel

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Judy Kuehmichel on April 3, 2026.

Born on November 12, 1946, Judy lived a vibrant and full life, marked by generosity and an unwavering spirit of unconditional love.

Judy will be fondly remembered by her daughters, Lori Ihde, her sons, Dean and Gregg Pawelski, her sister, Sharon Wildes, her brother, Robert (Bob) Gebhard. She will also linger in the hearts of her grandchildren, Alex (Amy), AJ, Kaley, Morgan Pawelski and Ethan Ihde, her son-in-law, Sean Ihde, and her daughter-in-law, Jody Pawelski. Judy was predeceased by her sister, Marlene Stajduhar, her mother, Evangeline Gebhard, and her father, William Gebhard.

With a zest for life and an endearing affection towards her family, Judy brought a unique warmth and joy into every gathering. She was an unwavering supporter of the Green Bay Packers, Brewers and NASCAR, lending a passionate voice to every race and match.

Known to have a sweet tooth, Judy was a lover of all treats. Her favorite tunes were often ones by Bob Segar or Motown favorites. Nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her grandkids, watching her son Gregg race at the local racetrack, and caring for the backyard furry and feathered friends.

Judy was a beacon of love, care, and support, always placing the needs of others before her own. As an ICU nurse at County and VA hospitals, she brought comfort and healing to countless lives. However, according to Judy, her greatest accomplishment was being the best grandma ever, a title unanimously agreed upon by her loving grandchildren.

Judy Kuehmichel was an individual of extraordinary compassion and unrelenting kindness. Her legacy will continue to be a source of inspiration and comfort to all those who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family would like to thank Aurora Palliative Care at home program, and West Allis Memorial Hospital for the excellent care they provided.

Instead of a formal service, a heartfelt celebration with Judy's loved ones and closest friends will take place by special invitation.

Randy Traiber

Randy “Rudy Baker” Traiber- a master mechanic, legendary prankster, and devoted father- passed away peacefully on March 27th, 2026. A Celebration of Life will be held in Randy’s honor on Sunday, June 14th at The Gage (1139 South 70th St., Milwaukee, WI 53214) from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Randy was born on December 2nd, 1959 to Robert and the late Heather Traiber. He was a middle child of six and naturally took on the role of caretaker to his younger siblings, especially Kelly, who was always by his side. During his adolescent years, Randy could be found tinkering with cars, woodworking, riding his bike or cruising around the neighborhood go-kart track. He was an avid collector of comic books and coins and always enjoyed loud music, fast cars, and Pepsi. His love for Mustangs and Michael Jackson never wavered - he once owned a ’67 Mustang Fastback, which was his favorite car, and he would perfectly mimic MJ’s signature “Whoo” whenever the feeling struck him.

Randy went on to open a successful radiator shop while remaining active through fishing, practicing taekwondo, and participating in pool and dart leagues. When Muscular Dystrophy led him to a wheelchair, his world didn’t shrink - it simply shifted. Through PS5 he stayed connected, spending time gaming with his son-in-law (Jeff), his grandsons (Landin and Vincenzo) and his friends (most notably- Jared, Matt and Zak), whose companionship brought him laughter, purpose, and joy. Between gaming sessions, he enjoyed building computers, cooking, working on model cars or fidgeting with his latest Amazon find.

Randy was a mechanic by trade, a helper by nature and a loyal friend to everyone he met. His talents went far beyond the engine bay as he was forever remodeling and reconstructing— leaving his signature “Randy touch” on every project he finished. His hands were rarely idle as he always made sure to leave everything better than when he found it- be it someone’s vehicle or their rough day. Whether he was lending a tool or his time, Randy never hesitated to help someone in need. Even if you only met him once, he was sure to leave an impression.

Above all else, Randy was a devoted and deeply loving father. His greatest happiness came from being with his daughter, Jessica, who was truly the center of his world. He taught her in the quiet, everyday ways — how to feel safe, how the importance of apologies and forgiveness could mend even the hardest moments, and how love doesn’t need grand gestures to be powerful. Their bond was built on the beautiful consistency of simple things- most dear to them, the many hours spent playing cribbage together. Through daily visits and phone calls, card games and movies, they built a life rich in closeness and comfort. Randy was her steady anchor and her fiercest protector, whose love was felt in every conversation and quiet moment they shared.

Known to many as "Grandpa Randy," he was a true grandfather and mentor to Landin Anderson and Vincenzo Wysocki. He was always ready to teach them about cars, offer his profound wisdom and keep them entertained with his favorite "Creature Feature" movies, from Jurassic Park to Godzilla and King Kong. He and Landin were notorious for staying up late into the night, bonding over video games and large plates of steak. Among Vincenzo’s fondest memories are those of their fishing trips, full of laughter and shenanigans.

Randy is survived by his beloved daughter, Jessica (Jeff) Wysocki; his father, Robert Traiber; and his three loving sisters, Patty (Mark) Hasek, Robin Traiber, and Kelly Traiber. He was a proud uncle to his nephews, Joseph (Carolyn) Hasek, Kyle Traiber, Ryan (Dana) Traiber and Nicholas Traiber. He now joins those who went before him: his mother, Heather Traiber, and his brothers, Terry and Shawn Traiber.

Randy has finally hung up his wrenches, but he left behind a legacy that will stay in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed by his family, his lifelong friends, and everyone who has had the privilege of knowing him.

BROOKFIELD – Daniel John Waffenschmidt, age 70, was called home to Heaven on Sunday, March 22, 2026, in Wauwatosa, WI.

Dan will be deeply missed by his wife of 44 years, Cheryl (nee Grages), his children Daniel “DJ” II, David, & Amanda (Ben) Murphy. Proud Papa of Cole, Brooklyn & Declan Murphy. He was a special son-in-law to Grace Grages-Friedrich, and brother-in-law to Elisabeth Waffenschmidt, Kathi, Mark (Sandi) and Mike Grages. He is also survived by many nieces nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Henry and Elizabeth and brother Henry. Sincere thanks to the staff at Accent Care Hospice for their excellent care.

A memorial service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls on Monday, April 27, 2026, with visitation starting at 5:00pm until time of service at 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church or family are appreciated.

Aaron left us suddenly and far too soon on March 19, 2026. His infectious, ever-present smile will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Aaron was born in Madison, Wisconsin on November 7, 1978 and moved to Whitefish Bay in 1986. He attended Whitefish Bay public schools graduating in 1997. Growing up, he was a dedicated athlete, playing baseball, track, and football. He continued his football career at the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, where he earned a degree in Human Resources and met his future wife and best friend Jamie; they married in August 2004.

Following college, Aaron worked in Milwaukee at House of Harley and the Milwaukee Mile; In 2009 he moved with his family to Green Bay to begin a thirteen year career with the Green Bay Packers; which ultimately brought him back to the Milwaukee area (and Whitefish Bay) to open a new Milwaukee based office for the Packers.

Aaron was a devoted husband and an exceptional father to Reggie (18) and Calvin (13). He was endlessly proud of his boys and happiest when spending time with them— he would do whatever they wanted, just to be together. He was beyond proud of Calvin’s theatrical talents, admiring his bravery on stage and was a built-in audience for Calvin’s daily comedy; they were always laughing. He loved watching Calvin run at track meets, and challenging his exceptional skill at yard games. He bonded with Reggie over sports, playing catch with some kind of ball or object whenever possible. He loved coaching Reggie in youth baseball and football and especially enjoyed watching as a proud parent Reggie's senior year of high school football. Aaron showed up for everything—every game, meet, and performance— cheering and clapping really loud.

Aaron was also a loving son to Jill and Rick Hart, and a loyal friend to many. He was known by all to be generous, optimistic and just plain fun. He was a good listener and always ready to help his friends.

Professionally, Aaron later founded Evergreen Partnerships, where he worked with businesses on brand navigation in sports. He was a board member for the Vince Lombardi Cancer Foundation and was engaged with several other organizations over the years as an active member of his community.

He was a regular guy who loved life—his family, music (especially the Grateful Dead), the outdoors, hiking, biking, grilling out, and tackling projects around the house. One of his favorite traditions was grilling with other dads at high school baseball games for The Blue Dukes, where he was involved in supporting youth sports.

Through their sons’ schools and activities, Aaron and Jamie built a wide circle of close friends in Whitefish Bay. His friendships spanned a lifetime, including the friends he grew up with who were like brothers, his college buddies and Dewey Street roommates, and fellow dads from Bay.

Aaron is survived by his wife of 21 years, Jamie; his sons, Reggie and Calvin; and his parents, Rick and Jill; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bill Hart, Ellie Wruck, Helen Davidson, and Ed Davidson.

If you knew Aaron, you loved him. His voice, his laugh, and his spirit were larger than life. In honor of Aaron, go about your days like he would with enthusiasm, laughter and kindness. The world has lost a truly wonderful person, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Cynthia Jane Gawlitta (Dings), passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2026, after a courageous journey with Alzheimer’s. She was 80 years old, born on November 16th, 1945.

Cindy was the loving partner of Don Dories for nearly 50 years, sharing a lifetime of love, companionship and memories together. She was a devoted mother to her son, Scott (Stephanie), and daughter, Pam (Michael) Martin, and a proud and loving grandmother to Tyler, Jordan, Gabby, Donovan and Makenna.

She is further survived by her sister, Linda (Ron) Erdmann. Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dorothy Dings, as well as her brother, Dave (the late Elaine) Dings.

Cindy devoted much of her working life to the patients at The Village at Manor Park, formerly known as Methodist Manor. Her patients loved her fun loving personality! She made sure they were happy and she made them laugh.

Cindy had a special place in her heart for her animals, including her basset hounds Bernie, Barkley, Abby and her mixed hound, Hailey. She often sang to her quaker parrot Jako-Bako who sang right along with her! And don’t forget her cats, Jasper, Cody and Callie. She loved shopping and decorating her house.

Thank you Donny for providing your strength and loving care until her final days. It’s comforting to know she had you by her side throughout her journey. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Cindy’s name to the Wisconsin Humane

Society.

Paul R Krush passed away peacefully on, February 28th, 2026, born in Sheboygan WI 08/12/1941. He is survived by his faithful wife of 60 years, Diane M Krush, has one daughter, Sandra Abraham, her husband Steven Abraham, and two adult granddaughters, Samantha Abraham, husband, Keithel Chauncey and Sarah Ollivierre, husband, Clinton Ollivierre, one Sister, Mary Johnson.

Paul was raised in Milwaukee Wisconsin and graduated from Pulaski High School in 1959. He enlisted into the United States Marine Corp, served during the Cuban Missile Crisis and was honorably discharged. He was an electrical and mechanical engineer and had worked on projects for the Apollo Space missions. He worked on the team that produced the first MRI machine for GE Medical Systems. He holds a patent for a design for Western products in his name.

He was a gifted athlete enjoying trick water skiing into his 70’s. He was included in a water ski show up by his second home in Crivitz, WI. Enjoyed fishing, hunting, cross country skiing and motorcycling with his wife. Paul was an avid model railroader and a member of the North American Prototype Modelers.

Paul requested no funeral or memorial services.

Carol Lyn Uitz, 69, passed away on February 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Born on June 24, 1956, Carol was the life of the party—never one to wait for the fun to find her, but the one who created it. Carol had a way of turning ordinary moments into long lasting memories. She loved music, good gossip and above all, she loved to laugh.

Her laugh was contagious, warm enough to melt any awkwardness, and genuine enough that you couldn’t help but smile just hearing it. She had the rare ability to find humor even in hard times, reminding those around her that joy could still win.

Carol is survived by her two beloved children: her son, Andrew Uitz, and her daughter, Allison Ayres.

She was preceded in death by those who went before her, and now she rests, we hope, still chuckling at the stories being told about her.

A private memorial will be held by her family to celebrate Carol’s life.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests raising a glass, telling a funny story, or simply letting yourself laugh out loud in memory of a woman who believed life was better when you didn’t take it too seriously.

Carol will be deeply missed. The world is a little quieter without her laughter, but those who loved her will carry it with them always.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Luis “Lucho” Borda, who left us on January 1, 2026, just two days shy of his 77th birthday.

Born in Santiago, Chile, on January 3, 1949, Luis immigrated to the United States in 1963. As a young man, he faced the challenges of starting over in a new country during a difficult era, yet he built a life grounded in hard work, perseverance, and quiet strength.

Luis was drafted and inducted into the U.S. Army in February 1969 and dutifully served in Vietnam, being honorably discharged in November 1970. His service reflected his sense of duty and commitment to his adopted homeland. In 1973, Luis married the love of his life, Linda Borda (née Crawford), and together they shared over 52 years of love, partnership, and family.

He worked as a skilled CNC machinist for 25 years at Louis Allis/Magnetek Corporation and later retired from Ladish Corporation in 2015.

Luis was a man of resilience and quiet strength—a calming presence in his family. Known for his intelligence, attention to detail, and resourcefulness, he approached every challenge with patience and care. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, tending to his yard, and working with his hands, finding pride and peace in a job well done. He loved his family immensely, especially his wife, children, and grandchildren, and there was not a person he did not help. Proud and principled, he was a strict man who spoke little but always spoke up when it mattered. Even though he valued hard work, he never missed an event for his kids or grandkids, showing that family always came first. Even during his final year, when his health began to decline, Luis was more concerned with his family than himself—always putting their needs and well-being above his own.

Preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Marina (née Hidalgo) Borda; his brother and best friend, Pablo Borda Jr.; and his in-laws, including his father and mother-in-law, James V. Crawford and Fern (née Shandal), and siblings-in-law Connie (Jim) Geary, Katie (Bob) Paul, Jerry Crawford, Daniel Crawford, and James R. Crawford. Luis leaves behind his loving wife, Linda; his sister Maria (Larry) Wiesner; his son Luis (Marybeth) Borda; his daughter Lisa (Octavio Rivera, Jr.) Borda-Rivera; and his cherished grandsons, Jorge Vasquez-Borda, Jacob Borda, Carsen Daugherty, and Roman Borda. He is also survived by his brothers- and sisters-in-law: Genevieve “Genny” Borda, Terry (Barbara Muraco) Crawford, Nancy Wozniak, Debbie (Terry) Tariq, and Julianne Harris; his half-siblings Maximo Borda Dupry and Juana Eliana Borda Dupry; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Luis’ legacy of humility, quiet strength, deep love for his family, and unwavering work ethic lives on through his children. His care, commitment, and generosity will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

A celebration of Luis's life will be held on January 31, 2026, at the Heritage Funeral Home. 4800 S. 84th Street. Greenfield, WI 53228, from 1:00pm to 3:00pm, during which he will receive military honors in recognition of his service. The family invites all who knew and loved him to join in honoring his remarkable life.

His wife Linda would also like to extend a special heartfelt thanks to their daughter Lisa who used her nursing skills and dedicated care to help her father in his time of need and to Linda's sister, Nancy Wozniak who supported our family and helped us care for him in the comfort of his home during his final days.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Luis’ name to the IPF Foundation, an independent nonprofit solely focused on accelerating research for treatments and cures for Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis.

She is preceded in death by her son Douglas McLeod II.

Judy enjoyed being a CNA for many years. A dedicated wife and mother, she will be remembered as a woman with a giant heart, love, humor and kindness.

LeRoy T. Eschendal, Jr, age 69 of Milwaukee, WI passed away on December 27, 2025.

LeRoy was born on March 11, 1956 to LeRoy Sr and Maxine Eschendal of whom preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife Terri who he missed deeply.

LeRoy had quite a sense of humor and made an impression on everyone he met! He retired from the City of Milwaukee.

LeRoy is survived by his daughter Amy (Matthew) Kirsch and grandson Isaac. Further survived by his sisters Patti (Rick) Krajewski and Christine (Stanley) Jacoby and his niece Jamie Krajewski. Along with many other loving family, dear friends and neighbors and his dog Abby, who brought him constant companionship.

John Grandsard went to be with the Lord on December 17, 2025 at age 82.

John was born in Oak Park, Illinois to parents August and Mary Beth Grandsard. He attended DePaul University in Chicago and eventually met his wife, Mary Ann Griesemer, from Milwaukee, WI, on a blind date. They married and moved to Wisconsin where John enjoyed working in the banking industry for many years. John loved his country and faithfully served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He greatly appreciated when people would approach him and thank him for his service to his country. John was a follower of Jesus Christ, a loving and devoted husband, and a caring father and grandfather. He enjoyed travelling, riding roller coasters, reading books by Max Lucado, making people laugh with his corny jokes and crazy faces, and spontaneously breaking out in song wherever he went. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

John was survived by his loving wife and faithful caregiver, Mary Ann Grandsard, of almost 56 years of marriage; his daughter, Dawn Klinkosh (Jerry); his son, David Grandsard (LeeAnn); his six grandchildren, Natalie, Noah, Amber, Noelle, Abigail, and Nora; and his brother, Robert (Peggy) Grandsard.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2025 at Poplar Creek Church 17770 W. Cleveland Ave. New Berlin, WI. Visitation will be at 5pm and the service will follow at 6pm.

Anthony L. Vargas, age 49, of Milwaukee, passed away on December 17, 2025, at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice, surrounded by his loving family and friends.

Anthony, lovingly known as Tony, was born on March 18, 1976, the son of the late Louis E. Vargas and the late Deborah R. Travis. He grew up in Kenosha, Wisconsin, and later made his home in Milwaukee.

Tony took great pride in his work as a professional welder at Appleton Electric in South Milwaukee. He was known for his strong work ethic, generosity, and kind heart. Tony would truly give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

Above all, Tony cherished time spent with his family and lifelong friends. He especially loved cookouts and family gatherings, which brought him the greatest joy. He also enjoyed attending live concerts and making memories with those he loved.

Tony is survived by his two sons, Timothy Joseph Vargas and Alexander Vargas; his sister, Olivia (Aaron) Deprez; his brothers, Timothy Soto and Joseph (Jenne) Soto; his aunts, Linda Vargas and Jane Vargas; his uncle, Robert Vargas; along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis E. Vargas and Deborah R. Travis; his beloved sister, Gina (Vargas) Pena; and his beloved grandparents.

Robert Lovett Davis, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home in West Milwaukee, Wisconsin, of natural causes.

Bob was born in South Carolina to Oscar and Virginia, both of whom preceded him in death. Over the course of his life, he made his way north and built a life filled with stories, friendships, and moments of laughter.

He was known to many for his sharp wit and unforgettable sense of humor. Bob had a lifelong talent for telling stories and jokes—often funny, sometimes a little dirty, and always delivered with perfect timing. Laughter followed him easily, and he brought that humor into the lives of friends, family, and anyone lucky enough to spend time with him.

He was a man who formed many friendships over the years and valued kindness above all else. Bob was always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, or simply show up when someone needed help. His generosity of spirit and genuine concern for others left a lasting impression on those who knew him.

Bob was the father of nine children. He was preceded in death by his son, Gary. He is survived by his children Jeff, Sarah, David, John, Terri, Nick, Billy, and Kim. While life and circumstance meant he was not always as present as he might have wished, he cared deeply for all of his children and his extended family. His love was real, even if imperfect, and it remained with him throughout his life.

He will be remembered as a man with a big heart, a mischievous sense of humor, and a deep care for those around him. Bob’s legacy lives on in the memories, laughter, and stories shared by the many people whose lives he touched.

He will be missed.

Joyce Marie Evans, age 72, born in Milwaukee, WI beloved second born daughter of Earl Evans and Annie Ruth Evans.

Attended Milwaukee Public Schools and graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1968 at the age of 15. She advanced her education by attending UW-Whitewater. Joyce received her Registered Nursing degree while living in Florida.

Registered Nurse for more than three decades- every nurse - we all called her for medical advice and diagnosis. She really enjoyed her career and devoted her free time to studying and researching chemistry, medicine, biology and much more.
She enjoyed politics.

Traveling to Paris each March for several years. Joyce enjoyed reading, studying and listening to music, especially Diana Ross and The Supremes

Joyce spent most of her nursing career working in Washington D.C. as a private duty nurse for many patients, at Walter Reed Hospital and Washington Medical Center.

Though she never had children of her own, she treasured every moment spent with her nieces and nephews. She took them on trips, introduced them to new ideas, and taught them subjects she loved—especially science, math, and current events. Joyce often assigned them newspaper articles to read, chapters from textbooks to study, and even summer homework. She wanted to make sure they could read, write, think critically, and hold their own in any conversation.

Devoted daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She will be missed.

Born on October 4, 1949, to James and Virginia Doherty , Jim grew up in a home filled with faith, humor, and strong bonds. He carried those values with him throughout his life. He was predeceased by his parents and by his beloved sisters, Mary and Maureen , whose memories he held close to his heart.

For 43 years , Jim shared a remarkable and steadfast marriage with his wife, Sharon . Their love was a partnership built on loyalty, laughter, and unwavering support—an example to everyone around them. Together they built a home filled with warmth and welcomed their son, Jimmy , who was Jim’s pride and joy. Being a father was one of his greatest blessings, and he embraced the role with dedication, patience, and an unmistakable quiet strength.

Jim is survived by his loving wife Sharon , his son Jimmy , and his brother Pat (Mary) , who will forever carry forward his memory, stories, and spirit. Also survived by many other loved relatives and friends.

A man of simple joys and rich character, Jim found peace on the golf course and happiness on the water with a fishing pole in hand. Whether sinking a long putt or waiting for the next bite, he cherished the moments that reminded him to slow down, breathe, and appreciate the beauty in ordinary days. He was steady, genuine, and kind—the sort of man whose presence made life feel a little lighter.

Patricia Leeann Mrozek, age 70, of Milwaukee, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025. She was born on January 7, 1955, in Milwaukee, the beloved daughter of Walter and Esther.

Patricia was a devoted wife to Al for 54 years, a loving mother to Angie and Allan, and a proud grandmother to Aiden and Bobby. Loving step-grandmother to Phoebe. She also opened her heart as a foster mother to 24 babies, giving each child the gift of care and compassion.

She dedicated her career to serving the community as a Milwaukee Police District Clerk, where her commitment and kindness touched many lives.

Patricia’s legacy is one of love, generosity, and service. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she enriched.

Dear father of Brian (Cindy) Koch, Nancy (Don) Barth, Kim (Wayne) Straus, and Donna (Michael) Gundersen. Loving Grandfather of 10 and Great Grandpa “PAPA” to 18. Also survived by his brother Arnold (late Elaine) Koch, sister-in-law June Gratz, nieces, nephews and many friends.

Our Dad: He accomplished so much in life, a loving Father to us five, Hales Corners Roll Over King, his multiple trips to the Indy 500 (his favorite race) and worked at Burnham Auto Salvage for over 50yrs just to name a few. He was a friend/mentor to many, with unwavering love always encouraging, providing guidance or lending a helping hand to others. Over the last few years, he loved his phone calls and drop-in visits with family and friends, always trying to stay on top of everything that was going on. HE LOVED GOSSIP! He was the world to our family and will be missed by so many. With his recent health issues, he took it one day at a time and lived each day to the fullest. He was always ready to share a story or a good joke, Pick a Number between 1 & 10........ Ohh, so close!! Forever one number off!!

He is now reunited with mom, Debbie and other family and friends who preceded him in death. Rest in peace, Dad. We will miss you terribly, but you will be forever in our hearts.

In loving memory of Denis John Murray September 8th, 1947 - November 5th, 2025.

On Wednesday, November 5, 2025, beneath an auspicious full moon, our beloved Denis—Dad, Grandpa, brother, uncle, teacher, and friend—took his final breath, surrounded by the love of his family.

Denis was honored by his Tibetan Buddhist teacher with prayers and the P’howa ritual, reflecting the spiritual path he walked with devotion and intention in the years following his retirement from a lifelong career as an insurance agency field executive. We are deeply appreciative to all who offered care, prayers, messages, and presence throughout the three and half months of his metastatic lung cancer journey.

In keeping with Denis’ clearly stated wishes and spiritual traditions, there was no funeral. After cremation, his ashes were sent to his Tibetan monastery in upstate New York, where daily prayers will continue for a prescribed period. This was a path Denis prepared for years in advance, with thoughtfulness and peace.

Denis is survived by his lifelong friend/partner Barb Murray of 53 years, his children (Jen Murray/Meighan Bentz, Paul Murray/Joy Murray) and grandchildren (Jasper Murray-Bentz and Skylar Murray-Bentz), as well as sister (Sheila Aldrich), several extended family, and many friends whose lives were shaped by his presence, teachings, and love.

Denis was preceded in death by his brothers: Pat Murray, Tim Murray, Jerry Jr. Murray.

The family wishes to thank the incredible care teams at Legacy Hospice & Saint John’s on the Lake for their tremendous support and compassionate care of our beloved father/grandfather in his final days on earth.

Michael John Weaver, age 64 from Union Grove Wisconsin peacefully passed away from a courageous battle with brain cancer.

Michael loved his family, especially his wife Claudia and their two dogs. He was a Master Certified RV technician, an accomplishment he was very proud of.

Michael is survived by his wife Claudia Weaver, mother Agnes (Maureen) Weaver, brothers Ken (Jana) Weaver and Dennis (Diane) Weaver. Nieces and nephews Kaitlan Day, Wyatt Weaver, Clairissa Ace and Kia Aschauer, great nieces Harlow Day, Rowan Day, Carmen Ace and numerous other family members.

He was proceeded in death by his son Freddy, his father Bill and his brother Danny.

Nelda Manter

Nelda I. Manter, 91, passed away peacefully on October 11th, 2025, with family present. She was born in Indiana, grew up on a farm, and was the first woman in her family to graduate from college, going on to earn a master’s degree in mathematics. She was employed as a math teacher in Illinois and Indiana before moving to Wisconsin, where she conducted a pre-school in her home for eleven years. Ultimately, she worked at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse as the math specialist in Student Support Services for twenty-seven years, before retiring at the age of 71. Throughout her long career, Nelda touched the lives of countless students as she expertly guided them through their difficulties with math.

Nelda married her high school classmate Paul Manter. The couple relocated to Wisconsin and bought a home on Lake Neshonoc, where they raised four children. Their beautiful lakefront property was Nelda’s pride and joy. It was the scene of many summer beach parties and winter sledding/skating parties. Amazingly, Nelda didn’t learn to swim until she was an adult living at her lake home, and she then became a certified lifeguard so everyone would be safe at her beach.

Nelda valued hard work, and she carried that work ethic into everything she did, especially at her church. She hosted couples club events and church family outings. She also taught Sunday School, helped with church rummage sales, led the church’s Bingo outreach, and contributed her time to numerous committees. She was very active in the Presbyterian Women organization, where she served as treasurer for many years. In her community, Nelda led Girl Scouts, hosted Cub Scout meetings, and sewed costumes for several high school theater productions.

Nelda was a devoted grandmother, and one of her great delights was her grandchildren’s frequent visits for lake fun, rummage sale-ing, and Grandma’s cooking. Special favorites were her spaghetti (made from tomatoes she grew herself) and her raspberry jam (made from raspberries she grew herself). An avid gardener, Nelda maintained a large and productive garden through her 89th year; she spent many happy (and messy) days in the kitchen canning its output. Throughout her life, Nelda also doted on a few cats and numerous dogs, most especially her “favorite daughter,” a black lab named Rainbow.

Nelda loved to travel, taking advantage of summers off from work by orchestrating many family camping trips throughout the U.S. When exchange student Nena’s year ended, Nelda packed the entire family up for a roadtrip to Mexico to take Nena home. After Nelda’s retirement, she and Paul traveled widely with extended family and many friends. They gathered their adult children, spouses, and families for large group vacations. Nelda loved going on cruises and visiting different locations, but her favorite place was definitely her home on Lake Neshonoc, where she lived for more than 50 years.

Nelda is survived by three children and their spouses: Valerie (Bruce), Vernon (Dawn), Venitha (Jim); son-in-law, Jeff; brother Melvin (Janet), sister-in-law Nancy; seven grandchildren: Kalyn (Ryan), Kendra, Jake, Zoe, Sadie, and two others; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul, and youngest daughter, Vadrian.

A memorial service will be held at the Presbyterian Church of West Salem at 3:00pm on Saturday, December 27, with pastor Dan McCurdy officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00pm until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be given to the Presbyterian Church of West Salem, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (www.stjude.org), or to Breakthrough T1D (www.breakthrought1d.org).

Jeffrey L. Dufour of Germantown, Wisconsin, passed away on October 11, 2025, at the age of 65, after a long journey with health challenges. Born in Milwaukee on December 5, 1959, Jeff was a graduate of Slinger High School and a lifelong Wisconsinite who found joy in the simple pleasures of life.

Jeff had an appreciation for the beauty of his home state, often taking short, spontaneous trips to explore its towns and landscapes. One of his favorite destinations was Mickey-Lu-Bar-B-Q in Marinette, where he enjoyed not just the burgers, but the memories made along the way.

Those Jeffrey left behind to cherish his memories include his five brothers, David, Michael, Thomas, and Timothy Dufour; and his two sisters: Tracy (James) Breuer and Kristine (Dale) Hendrickson. Jeff also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Jeff was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Gerald and Mary (née Way) Dufour; his sister, Kelly Ciriacks Roesler; and his wife, Barbara Dufour (née Taylor), whose love and companionship he deeply missed.

Though his absence leaves a void, we find comfort in knowing Jeff is finally at peace. His life was marked by resilience and strength that carried him through both joyful and challenging times.

Frank Gerhartz of Milwaukee, WI was taken home to be with his Savior on October 11, 2025 after a 20-year battle with cancer. He was married to his soulmate, Susan (of West Allis, WI), for 62 years and they were still in love. They had 2 beautiful children, Richard and Kimberly.

The foundation of Frank’s life was his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ. This was evident to all who knew him personally. He was an amazing husband, devoted and loving father, and also a terrific grandfather.

By trade, he was an auto body repair man for 48 years, and then in semi-retirement he worked for Menards part-time. He was never lazy, always doing something. In his younger years he enjoyed playing softball, trap shooting, deer hunting, and fishing. He also really liked going pheasant hunting with his son and beloved Labrador retrievers. For relaxation he thoroughly appreciated watching Wisconsin sports with his family. He was a master of the grill, and he made the best steaks on planet earth!

He attended Word of Grace Bible Church. Besides his own home, he was at church more than any other place. He thoroughly enjoyed greeting and conversing with fellow Bible believing Christians. The sound teaching at Word of Grace helped him in learning the Word of God, which then enabled him to walk by faith in his ongoing Christian life.

He came from a large family, and is preceded in death by Don, Virginia, Lyle, Dorothy, Theresa, Walter, Eugene, Dennis, Kenny, and James. He is survived by, Marie, Robert, Ethel, Wayne, and Sandra. He is survived by his children, Rick (Katie) Gerhartz, and their son Isaac, and Kim (David) Schuster and their four sons Andy (Kelsey), John (Ruva), Jake, and Joe. Frank is survived by five great grandchildren, David, Josiah, Luke, Olivia, and Beau.

He received an Associates Degree in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and worked in this field until his retirement in 2020. He married his soulmate, Megan (Malkowski), on November 3, 1984 and had 3 beautiful children, Emily, Daniel, and Maddie.

The foundation of Ron’s life was his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, which was evident to all who knew him. He was an amazing dad, devoted husband, entertaining grandpa, and loyal friend. His sense of humor was like no other (although often inappropriate) and he had the ability to make anyone laugh. Ron's passion was going up to “The Shack” with Pappo and his other close friends. Although hunting and fishing were the main reason for going up to “The Shack”, they were also always able to fit in a "couple hours” at Lake of the Torches and Billy Bob’s. Ron coached all of his kids in various sports and especially enjoyed his time as a soccer coach for the Oak Creek Ladybugs, where he was admired and respected by all of the players. He was an avid Brewers, Bucks, and Packers fan. Ron was a "Mr. Fix-It”; there wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix. He was truly selfless. He always volunteered to help others but would never ask for help from anyone else.

Ron is survived by his 7 siblings, Robert, Nancy, Keith, Joanne, Jackie, Richard, and Janet; his wife Megan; his 3 children, Emily (Eric) Kilps, Daniel (Mariah) Kilps, and Maddie (Chris) Bournelis; and 6 grandchildren, Lily, Emmett, Scottie, Zoey, Murphy, and Callie. His grandchildren were the light of his life.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Thursday, October 9, 2025 starting at 3 pm at the Oak Creek Lions Club located at 9327 S Shepard Ave, Oak Creek, WI 53154.

Gordon Dean "Gordy" Shogren, Jr., age 52, of Fox Lake, Illinois, passed away on August 21, 2025, at St Luke's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Born on March 28, 1973, in Waukegan, Illinois, Gordy lived a life marked by compassion, humor, and unwavering generosity.

A devoted husband and father, Gordy is lovingly remembered by his wife Lauren Shogren; his children Carter Shogren, Avery Shogren, Abigail (Elijah) Goodwin, Faith Sobyra, Lillian Sobyra, and Caleb Chrzanowski; his mother Kathleen (Diehl) Harju; sisters Christine Bolz-Hott, Jennifer Fera, and Anessa Kaul; and a large extended family. He was preceded in death by his father Gordon Shogren, Sr., and his stepfather William Harju.

Gordy was a Christ-follower who lived out his faith through everyday acts of kindness. Whether pulling over to help a stranger on the side of the road or offering the shirt off his back to someone in need, he embodied the love and compassion that he believed Jesus had for all people. His actions spoke volumes about the depth of his character and the sincerity of his beliefs.

Known for his sharp wit and smart aleck remarks-often delivered with a twinkle in his eye-Gordy brought laughter wherever he went. His sarcasm was legendary among those who knew him best, but it was always paired with a warm heart and an open hand.

Gordy found joy in simple pleasures and shared them generously with others. He enjoyed playing card and board games-especially cribbage and Monopoly-and could often be found immersed in role-playing games, enjoying sports, or at the pool table. While he loved to teach his children how to play games, he reveled in beating them at those games even more. He shared his love for golf and disc golf with Carter and his obsession with estate sales and thrift stores with Abby. Gordy was his children's biggest cheerleader, and he attended every game, match, concert, and performance he could, even if it meant watching on his phone. One of his favorite pastimes was attending rock concerts with Lauren; music brought them closer together and created cherished memories they carried throughout their marriage.

Gordy was also a huge movie fan, from classic westerns to superhero movies to action and yes, even sappy rom coms. He enjoyed seeing movies with his family, but his favorite thing was to see movies with his movie group. Meeting at the theater, ranking movies, and discussing their rankings was a treasured pastime.

Gordy grew up in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, where he attended Zion-Benton High School. He then attended Taylor University, Mississippi State University, and Christian Brothers University. He worked at the Zion Park District and Windyke Country Club in Memphis, TN before working at Abbott Laboratories. After the passing of his father in 2014, Gordy took over his business, Stateline Storage, with his friend and business partner Steve Hollister.

In 2017, Gordy received a second chance at life through a kidney and pancreas transplant-a gift that extended not only his years but also deepened his gratitude for every moment. Gordy's legacy lives on through the lives he touched with kindness, laughter, and love. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him. There will be a Memorial service followed by open-ended time to share stories and honor the amazing man that Gordy was.

In Loving Memory of Roger Edward Schmechel 1936 - 2025

Roger Edward Schmechel passed away peacefully on August 15, 2025, surrounded by family, at the age of 89 after a terminal battle with blood cancer. Roger was the loving, fun and always present uncle of Laura Vandeloo (Doug), Karen Grasso (Mark), Susan Freiberg (Kris) and figural grandfather of Jonathan Norton and Jessica Norton. He is further survived by three great-nephews, Matthew Grasso, Tyler Freiberg and Kenneth Freiberg, in addition to his beloved cat, Lucy Loo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Flora Werner, his father, Edward Schmechel and his brother, Thomas Schmechel.

Although Roger was born with many physical disabilities, he refused to let that stop him from living a full and independent life. He refused to live on anyone else's terms or be told he could not accomplish anything he set out to do. He was born in Milwaukee in June of 1936. As a young man, he worked at a bank and shortly thereafter realized he wanted to be in business for himself and started his own janitorial service, "Star Bright Cleaning Service." He enjoyed working and conversing with his customers until his cancer diagnosis in January of 2025, many of whom were 20+ year customers. He always said, keeping busy and having a purpose is what kept him going. One of his favorite lines while on the job was, "There is a right way, a wrong way and a 'Star Bright' way." He believed in that saying for his own endeavors as well. Roger studied hard and received his pilot's license in the 1970s, taking great pride in flying family and friends on various flights.

Roger had a great love for all things outdoors, whether it be driving, fishing, hunting, hiking and whatever else got him up in the early hour and kept him outside for much of the day. He loved the calmness and natural beauty of the Wisconsin State and County Parks during his free time. He also had a great love for dogs, owning many throughout his lifetime. Two of his favorites were "Trucker" and "Angel."

Those who surrounded Roger knew him to have an endearing, witty and sometimes sarcastic sense of humor. He had faith in the Lord throughout his lifetime and knew upon leaving this world he was going to be with the Lord and at peace. In life, he was very family oriented, fun-filled, independent, kind and helpful, leaving behind a legacy of great stories and memories. He was always willing to lend a hand to help and would never accept anything in return. He was always present in life and will always be in present our hearts. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.

Special thanks go out to Dr. Karen-Sue Carlson and the amazing staff at the Froedtert Moorland Reserve Cancer Center, who took incredible care of Roger throughout his final year with us. They truly do the work of angels every day.

God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be, so he put his arms around you and whispered, “Come to Me.” With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and slowly fade away. Gregory Kotarski Obituary:

He promised not to leave us, but God knew of his 47 years working at GE Medical and recruited him to heaven for his Quality Engineer expertise. Gregory made his transition with his loving family surrounding him.

During his years at GE, he traveled over half a million miles around the country and world but still was always present for his beloved children and grandkids and never missed their events.

He loved dancing and singing to Neil Diamond songs and was a fan of Westerns and all the DC and Marvel movies. He enjoyed sports of all kinds and loved fishing. Lunkers Love Night Crawlers was a honeymoon read... and he caught his dream musky in 1986. After that, he focused on golf and constantly practiced perfecting his swing. He also enjoyed collecting watches and vintage jackets.

He adored his wife and kids, grandkids, grand-dogs, and his own precious pups, Raven, Guinevere, and his beloved Matilda.

A very private person, he hid much of his pain and suffering from all as he was fighting courageously through 42 chemo treatments during this 32-month battle against neuroendocrine carcinoma. He founded the Boys Tech Math Club, attended UW Madison, and received an Associate Degree in Business from Bryant and Stratton College.

He will be dearly missed by his caring and devoted wife of 53 years, Rosemary; his five loving children: John (Ozlem), Brian (Michelle), Beth (Erick Leider), Adam, and Natalie (Scott Shelnutt); and his four cherished grandchildren Lilith (Lilly), Maxwell, Ariana and Ronan. He is also survived by his brother, Dean, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dorothy (Langer) Kotarski.

God, in His infinite wisdom, called anther warrior home.

Albert Mason Jr. was born on October 16, 1932, in Milan, Tennessee, to the union of Albert Mason Sr. and Clander Middlebrook Mason. Albert Jr. was an industrious and responsible child. He made drugstore deliveries and brought water to workers in the fields. He never walked past a penny on the ground, saving them up for special trips to the movies.

Albert Jr. graduated from Gibson County Training (High) School in 1951, and soon after enlisted in the Army, where he served as a Field Wireman from 1953 to 1955.

After taking courses at Historically Black Lane College in Tennessee, Albert Jr. joined many of his siblings and moved North to Chicago. There, he met Barbara Jean Pass, and they married in 1959. From their union came Janet and Darren. When his young wife passed away, Albert Jr. surrounded his kids with aunts, uncles, and cousins, to help raise them. In 1976, Albert married Rosa Marie Garrett, and the family blended with children Nelvin and Sherri.

Albert Jr. was grounded in faith, family, work, service, and baseball. He owned Spot Guard Dry Cleaners in the 1970s, and then worked until well into his 70s for companies such as Dow Chemical and Sherwin Williams. He was an active member of Holy Cross Parish and then St. Helena of the Cross Parish, where he often attended daily morning mass with just him and the priest. He was a generous neighbor, beautifying the whole block with his landscaping talents. He was a lifelong Dodgers fan and an expert on baseball history and stats. And Albert Jr. opened his home to generations of extended family, including his mother-in-law, siblings, and grandchildren.

Albert Jr. made his transition peacefully on August 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Sr. and Clander Mason; first wife Barbara Jean and second wife Rosa Marie; sisters Wilbi (Wilma Jean) and Johnnie Mae, and brothers L.B., Johnson Lee, and Welton; stepchildren Nelvin and Sherri; and his son Darren. He is survived by his loving daughter Janet, and an abundance of nieces (especially Terri Campbell), nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Gerald “Jerry” Smith passed on to glory on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones at his home in Elkhorn, Wisconsin. Born September 28th, 1941, he passed away peacefully at the age of 83.

He is survived by his two children Jeff & Michelle Smith, daughter-in-law Betty (Broecker) Smith, one sibling, Joyce Smith, a nephew, Tim Smith, and six grandchildren, Tyler & Abi Hummel, Kristin, Natalie & Kyle Smith and Nicole (Smith) Klassy.

Jerry was a devoted Christian, a loving husband and father, an honorable Marine, a teacher, a passionate fisherman, a skilled gardener, a handyman and a Proud American.

At 17 he joined the Marine Corp and served his country proudly. After honorable discharge, he became the 1st person in his family to earn a college degree which led him to the field of teaching. Jerry became a passionate educator who taught elementary education in Aurora, Illinois for four decades.

He married Ruthi Hyllberg and moved into their family home in Montgomery, IL where they raised their two children and become dedicated members and volunteers at Central Bible Church in Aurora.

Jerry eventually retired from teaching and dedicated the remainder of his energy to fishing, spoiling his grandkids and caring for his wife, who would pass in November 2019. He made his final move to Wisconsin in 2022 to be near his family.

Jerry will be remembered as a giving, compassionate, Godly, and funny man who never hesitated to help others. He was a blessing to everyone he met.

His celebration of life will take place at Berean Baptist, 5626 Safford Rd, Rockford, IL, on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. and a service to follow at 11:00 a.m.

Diana Dietzman, marriage and family therapist in both California and Wisconsin for over forty years, has transitioned. Diana received her Master’s in Counseling from California Baptist College in 1985. She earned her undergraduate degree in 1971 from UW-Stevens Point.

In 1986, Diana studied Sand Play Therapy in Switzerland. She was chosen as one of sixty participants from around the world for the 2000 Jungian Institute Summer Program, in Switzerland.

Prior to becoming a therapist, Diana taught for Milwaukee Public Schools at Cass Street School and Riverside High School. She traveled extensively through Africa and Indonesia with Mission Aviation Fellowship during 1982-83. Upon returning to Wisconsin, Diana taught at Bayview High School.

Born the daughter of Red and Izzy Dietzman, Diana is sister to Donna and Dennis (deceased). She is aunt to Rebeca, Lisa, Lynn, Dillon, Stephen, and Rachel, and great-aunt to Jordan, Jace, Jarrett, and Jianna as well as to Shante, Max and Preston Rae.

Diana is also “cat momma” to her beloved “Baby Boomer.”

Mr. Terence Neil Tratnik, age 87, of Cascade, WI, passed away at his residence on April 14th 2025. Terry, as he was affectionately known, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. His passing has left a void not only in the hearts of his family, but also in those of his friends, and many others whose lives were touched by him.

Terry, who was born in Milwaukee, WI, was preceded in death by his loving parents, Anthony and Louise Tratnik. He is survived by his beloved wife Ellen, his high school sweetheart and loving wife of 65 years. In addition, he is survived by his devoted children Lynn (Frank), Jim (Michelle), Lori (Jim), and Lea, and his grandchildren, Angelica (Chris), Adam (Isela), Olivia (Alex), Aaron, Kevin, Mitch (Lindsay), and Billy, and his great grandchildren Charlie, Richie and Brayden. He is also survived by his sister Toni (late Tom), nieces, nephews and many other family and friends.

After graduating from high school Terry attended Marquette University. While there he earned both B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering; completing his education at night while raising a young family. These degrees enabled him to have a long and fulfilling professional career that included many years of service at Allis-Chalmers.

Terry loved life and he brought joy to those around him with his kind heart and gentle spirit. However, his defining characteristic was his devotion and love for his family. He loved spending time with family members, particularly summers at his home on Lake Ellen, especially when it was filled with family and friends. His children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren loved sharing time with “Papa” and he lovingly adored spending time with all of them.

Terry and his numerous friends regularly engaged in multiple social activities that ranged from bowling leagues and card clubs to Packer parties. After retirement Terry and Ellen became “snowbirds,” spending the winter months in the Sarasota, FL area. While at this resort he not only made many new friends, but he also engaged in all of the activities that were provided. These included joining a volleyball league, bicycling, working out at the fitness center, and swimming, something that he did competitively during his high school years.

Terry was not one to sit still for long. He always had at least a few projects that he was working on. His engineering background came through as he loved to plan and complete his many projects, including the design and construction of his beautiful home on Lake Ellen. He was extremely resourceful as he often found unique and creative ways to complete the countless projects that he accomplished. Terry was also always ready to give a hand, to his family, friends and neighbors. His energy was unmatched as he was always fixing or working on something. He even power washed and re-stained the large deck at his home at 82 years of age! His greatest passion was likely his yard and garden which were always immaculate under his care.

Terry set a great example for all those who knew him. He was a loving spouse, father and friend who led by example, yet did so in a very understated way. He will be deeply missed by all for his unselfish love, determination, perseverance and loyalty.

Brian Schroeder, age 63, of Greenfield, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025. Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brian was a proud graduate of West Milwaukee High School, Class of 1980.

From a young age, Brian displayed a natural mechanical curiosity—taking things apart just to see how they worked. By age ten, he was not only taking them apart, but also putting them back together better than before. His passion for machinery grew with him, ultimately becoming a lifelong love for cars, motorcycles, and anything with wheels and a motor. If it didn’t have an engine, Brian would find one and make it roar to life.

Brian earned his CDL and could drive just about anything, but his true joy came from building and riding motorcycles, especially on sunny days when the open road called. Whether tuning engines or spending time at the “Super Secret Hot Rod Garage,” he lived for the wind in his face and the rumble of horsepower.

Brian will be lovingly remembered by his parents, Edward and Barbara Schroeder; his sisters, Lenore (Russ) Kind and Sandy Schroeder; his daughter, Angela (Cody) James; along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, his closest friends Mike, Bill, and Tim, and many others whose lives he touched. His warmth, laughter, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In accordance with his wishes, a private service was held to honor and celebrate Brian’s life.

From her first working day to her last Monica was known for her tremendous work ethic whether it was in her service as a Milwaukee Police Officer following her Police Academy graduation in 1985; her brief but legendary proprietorship of Lounge Lizards, or in her varied roles in the service industry throughout her lifetime at a number of the most iconic Milwaukee establishments (Lotus, William Ho's, Savoy Room, Balistreri's Bluemound Inn, George Webbs, and most recently Outpost Natural Foods).

Monica was creative and had many quietly kept talents and hobbies. She was skilled in embroidery and crochet but also painted and enjoyed learning new mediums and art forms. She loved food, especially cooking for her friends and family. Monica also had an affinity for orchids and enjoyed true crime TV, eccentric gift giving, the State Fair, unashamed irreverent storytelling, crossword puzzles, and crazy cat T-shirts.

Monica could be as effortlessly stunning in her MPD uniform, a halter cut gown, or her later in life signature mohawk haircut, but she generally disliked being photographed. She could be sweet yet exuded a tough exterior. Underneath, she was extremely tenderhearted. Though in the last almost two years she carried a greater sense of peace and joy than in many years, it remains true that over time, Monica's long silent struggles with alcohol use disorder limited more and more of her capacity for the things and people in life she loved most. Still, she shared and did what she was able and regularly spoke with tremendous pride in her family and genuine appreciation for those she worked alongside at Outpost - State Street. To her friends, past colleagues/former customers, and extended family - If you knew her once but had lost your connection, she likely missed you. If she loved you once, she still does.

Monica is survived by her daughter Leila Mousai and son-in-law Paul Krause of Appleton, WI; her grandchildren Nima “Champ”, Mina, Hailey, Lauren, and Ben; sister Juliana Nadeau of Lake in the Hills, IL and brothers John (Deborah) Mejchar of Rio, WI and Benny Mejchar of Atami, Japan. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, friends and her beloved cat Purrcy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sachiko Bernadette and Arthur Paul Mejchar.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11, 2025, at 9:30 AM, followed by a celebration of a Mass of Christian Burial for Monica at 11 AM at St. Roman Parish, 1710 W. Bolivar Ave., Milwaukee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Trout Museum of Art in Appleton, WI, to fund adult education scholarships in Memory of Monica and her mother, Sachiko Mejchar

Patti Will, of New Berlin, WI went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2025 at the age of 73, surrounded by her loving family. Patti was born in Wilkinsburg, PA to John and Ann DePriter on August 17, 1951.

After graduating from high school in 1969, Patti pursued her passion for education, attending Slippery Rock State Teacher’s College (Slippery Rock University now), graduating in 1973, where she earned her degree in teaching. She carried that spirit of learning, guidance and encouragement throughout her life, not just in the classroom, but in every relationship she cultivated. She wrote thousands of letters, cards and words of encouragement to all in her circle.

She was united in marriage to Rev. Stephen Will on November 4, 1978 at the First Evangelical Free Church of McKeesport, PA. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Patti lived a life rooted in faith, love, and service. As the beloved wife of Pastor Will, she served faithfully alongside him as a pastor’s wife, pianist, church sectary, AWANA leader, Sunday school teacher and ministering to many and living out her deep commitment to Christ every day.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen; her two sons, Seth (Emily) and Aaron (Brittney); and her five cherished grandchildren - Jason, Shane, Aubrey, Jolene and Warren . She also leaves behind a dear brother, Robert “Bob” Minjack and sister-in-law Carolyn “Cari” (Donald) Meyer, and many nieces, nephews, and friends who were touched by her warmth and wisdom. She was preceded in death by her father & mother.

Patti will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her gentle heart, her warm smile, and the grace with which she loved and led her family. She taught us to lean into God, to love deeply, and to serve with joy.

A celebration of her life will be held on August 1, 2025 at CrossPoint Church West Allis, WI with visitation beginning at 5:30 pm and services to follow at 7:00 pm. A fellowship time will follow the service.

He was born to the late Anthony Zilonis Sr and Bernice (Galvin) Zilonis on July 8, 1955. Larry was educated in schools in Kenosha, WI.

On October 14, 2011 he married Michelle Miller. He worked for many years as a laborer.

He is an avid Packer fan. He also loved fishing and hunting.

Larry is survived by his wife Michelle, a nephew Edward Zilonis and niece Alyssia Zilonis that he helped raised, his son Bruce Schonscheck, his grandchildren DaCianna, Kobe, ZaKyiah, Jenica, Elivia, Cameron, Colin, Ariel, Catherine, Ciara, Dominic, Brantlee and Jayden, his brother Anthony Zilonis Jr of Casper, WY and his sister Merry (Timothy) Peters of Union Grove, WI. He is proceeded in death by his parents Anthony Sr and Bernice Zilonis, four brothers John, Donald, Edward, and Robert a sister Sharon Marko and a son Ricky Schonscheck.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John Craig Bellamy, Jr., age 47, of Waukesha, Wisconsin. John passed away peacefully on June 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

John was a kind-hearted, loving, and hilariously funny soul who touched the lives of so many. His presence brought joy, laughter, and warmth to everyone fortunate enough to know him.
A dedicated and hard worker, John poured his heart and soul into everything he did—a quality deeply cherished by those around him. His loyalty, generosity, and authenticity were traits that made him beloved by friends, family, and colleagues alike.

John had a wide range of hobbies and passions. He loved working on cars, hunting, fishing, volleyball, and camping. He was always up for a game of pool, video games, or a round of paintball or airsoft. He was an enthusiastic Dungeons & Dragons player, a diehard Packers and Brewers fan—he had many fond memories attending games at the stadiums. He also managed a friendly competition of Fantasy Football we hope to continue in his honor. He was an incredible dancer who could light up the floor—often being the last one off it. One of his most exhilarating experiences was skydiving, and he often said how much he would have loved the chance to do it again.

John was especially proud of earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Management. He also played a pivotal role in establishing the nonprofit Waukesha Makerspace, serving as a founding board member—leaving a lasting legacy in the community he cared so much about.

He was a gifted storyteller, and no one could spin a tale quite like John. Whether it was recounting deer camp adventures, catching fish with his bare hands, or delivering spot-on impressions, he could leave a room in stitches. He loved Stephen King novels and, in true storyteller fashion, even wrote a few books of his own—though he kept them mostly private.

John never lost his sense of humor, even in his final days. He brought laughter and light to everyone who visited him, often cracking jokes, flashing a wink, or even giving a cheeky finger gesture with his signature grin. His wit and humor will be among the things most missed.

John is survived by the love of his life, Tanya Bragg; his mother Nellie (Mike) Helton; sister Crissy (Colin) McCormack; brother Joseph Bellamy (Eiko); stepsisters Melissa Rodenberg and Crystal Helton; and Tanya's family- Moody, Linda, and Jason Bragg, and Tami and Jason Kramer who embraced him as their own. He also leaves behind beloved nieces and nephews: Reba McCormack, Nick (Sara) McCormack, Gia Bellamy, Miles Bellamy, Kara Fisher, Joseph, Jenna, and Jessa Kramer; and great-niece and nephew Meadow and JJ McCormack.

He was a proud godfather to Andrew and Dominic Kerr, and Wesley Pigeon. John’s memory will be deeply cherished by his closest friends Casey Kerr, Henry (Bernie) Pigeon, Tom (Cari) Slater, and Krysta Kerr; beloved cousins Angie (Tim) Kieffer; and many more. He was like a big brother to everyone—always making sure those around him were cared for and looked after.

John was preceded in death by his father, John C. Bellamy, and his nephew, Sammy Bellamy.

Per his wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held later this year with those closest to him. He asked that you remember John as he wanted to be remembered: through laughter, shared stories, funny T-shirts, occasional pranks, and the joy of being together.

She was a loving mother and proud grandmother whose warmth and kindness touched all that knew her.

She had a passion for crafts, cooking, traveling, HSN and the Minnesota Vikings.

Evelyn is proceeded in death by her mother and father, her brother Leslie Karge, her brother Merle Karge, her son Edward Emery and grandsons James Taylor and Tyler Isbell.

She is survived by her siblings: Wayne Karge of Anchorage, Alaska, Delores Miller of Willis,, Texas, Carolyn Minto of Winter, Wisconsin and David (Cheryl) Karge of Austin, Minnesota. She is also survived by her children, Billy Emery of Winter, Wisconsin, Tate Emery of Shell Lake, Wisconsin, Glenda Isbell of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Tanya Emery Denman of Clayton, Wisconsin and Richard (Carla) Fiorentino of Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.

Her pride and joy included all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Those include: Alexis Ladkins, Breeanna Emery, Emily Emery, Kaytesa Taylor, Buddy Isbell, Alexx Isbell, Jesse Isbell, Shadow Denman, Baillee Finley, Laine Emery, Rhea Emery, Gretchen Emery and Kaela Lang.

Though she is no longer with us, her love and memory will live on forever in the hearts of all that knew her.

Janice “Jan” Crowley, age 65, of Elkhorn passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at her home.

She was born September 18, 1959, to James (Jim) and Shirley Hamilton of Clinton, WI. Jan attended the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. While in Milwaukee, she met the love of her life and married Scott R. Crowley on March 17, 1979. She created art throughout her life, loved to photograph birds, enjoyed nature and cherished her family. She loved to brag about her grandsons and children. She enjoyed baking, gardening, fishing, travel, watercolor painting and pottery. Jan will be remembered for her free-spirited sass, deep rooted faith, love of all things Celtic and her pursuit of beauty in all things through her art. She was the family historian and cherished writing and reading.

Jan was always busy at home working on house projects, making homemade meals and baked goods, planting hostas and tending to her gardening. Bird watching and photography were dear to her heart. She kindly made Scott row her across lakes to photograph loons or adventure to find the perfect photo of a crane. Jan constantly sought out new skills and hobbies; putting her hands to work and her creativity was always active. Yet, she always found time for others and had compassion and patience when people needed it. It was clear she wore her heart on her sleeve.

Her heart was a compass that always pointed towards her children. She loved nothing more than being with her family. Nature spoke to her soul, and she loved a booming thunderstorm, a quiet morning with the birds or listening to the crashing of waves.

Jan is survived by her husband of 46 years, Scott Crowley; her daughter, Laura (Rami) Lajin and their two children, Cullen & Lennox and her son Lee (Selina Lamberti) Crowley and her mother Shirley Hamilton and her siblings Roger (Pam) Hamilton, Sue (Dan) Blair, Beth (Mark Bedford) Hamilton, Rob (Amy) Hamilton.

She was predeceased by her father, Jim Hamilton.

Jan's Funeral Service will be 1pm on Friday, June 20, 2025, at LAGRANGE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, N8548 County Rd H, Whitewater, WI 53190, with Rev. Mark Bedford officiating. Friends and family will be received at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. A luncheon will follow in the fellowship hall.

For 15 years, she ran a beloved wedding magazine that became a treasured resource for countless brides-to-be. Her publication "Veil Magazine" was known for its stunning photography and thoughtful advice—reflecting her deep love for romance and her talent for turning dreams into reality. Denise found immense joy in helping others plan their perfect day and was always ready with ideas to make every detail shine.

Denise had an eye for style and a heart full of generosity. She delighted in styling outfits for friends and family, always adding her signature touch of sparkle. Her love of perfume was legendary—her collection boasted over 100 bottles—and she approached each scent as an extension of her joyful personality.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Denise was known for her fun-loving spirit and unwavering loyalty. She gave freely of herself to those around her—offering time, care, and unconditional love without hesitation. Whether lending an ear or stepping in to help someone in need, she made people feel seen and cherished.

Paul is survived by his two sons: Alex Stephen Esser and Cole Remington Esser, and his former spouse, Jennifer Grimm Esser. He is also survived by his four brothers: William Brian Esser, Todd Charles Esser, Kevin Remington Esser, Scott Lawrence Esser, and his sisters: Beth Bernadette Esser, and Julie Esser Hill. He was preceded in death by his mother, Judith Joy Esser, and his father, William Bernard Esser.

Paul’s love for life and his many passions were evident in everything he did. He loved the water—sailing, fishing, and water-skiing—and most of all, he enjoyed sharing his passion for lake-life with his sons, watching them grow to appreciate the simple joys of being on the water. He had a remarkable gift for turning any challenge into something creative, always improvising to produce inspired and often beautiful results. Whether it was through his love of music, his quick wit, or his ability to bring joy to any gathering, Paul’s presence lit up the lives of those around him.

Paul’s heart was kind and gentle, and his deep love for animals reflected his caring nature. He will be forever remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the laughter he brought to everyone who knew him.

Diane “Dyna” Frances Romboy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane “Dyna” Frances Romboy, who departed this life at age 77, while at home, holding the hand of her dear husband, Rick.

Diane was a gifted student and graduated Valedictorian from Custer High School in 1966.

Immediately after graduation Diane accepted a job with Miller Brewing Company - a job that

would last for 39 years until her retirement in 2005.

On April 22, 1994, Diane wed Rick Romboy. Their marriage spanned more than 3 decades but

their love story goes back even farther - to when they met in 1980. Diane was a devoted

mother to her daughter Jennifer (Jason) and a loving stepmother to Karl (Kelly), Ryan (Arran) and Robert (Maya). Diane loved her family and found such joy in becoming a grandmother to Cora, Jakob, Andrew (Tia), Isabella, Emeline, Hannah, Claira Frances, Brooklynn, Chloe, Trenten and Joseph; as well as great grandson Casey.

Besides her immediate family, she is lovingly remembered as a cherished Auntie by her 2 special nephews, Brian (Beth) and Dean (Denise); as well as many great nieces and great nephews, as well as one great great nephew and one great great niece. She will also be remembered by countless special friends, whose lives were touched by her warmth and generous spirit.

For the past 15 years, Diane found her paradise in Hawaii, where she traveled annually to soak

in the beauty of the islands and the peace they brought her. Whether strolling along the beach or enjoying the sunset with a smile, Hawaii was her sanctuary. She was so happy when friends and family would also come for a visit to share in that peace.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents Richard Wnukowski and Janet Singer; and sister Carol Holzberger.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor on Friday, June 20 at the Story Hill FireHouse, 407 N. Hawley Road, Milwaukee, beginning with a visitation at 4pm and a service to follow at 5pm.

In honor of Diane’s memory, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, a charity

that was near and dear to Diane’s heart.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Grover, prior husband Leonard Lanphear, parents Nora and Christian Mauer, daughters Joyce Tatzel, Sandra Tatzel, Joann Whitton, and Sherri Lanphear. Daughter-in-Law Kimberly Lanphear, grandchildren, Dennis Lanphear Jr., Larry Kreimer Jr., Mark Kreimer, and Jeff Whitton.

Her dedication to her family. She embraced her role as a loving mother and grandmother with warmth and strength that left a lasting impression on those around her.

Ella was a beloved mother and grandmother, and her memory will be treasured by all who knew her. May her legacy of love bring comfort to those she leaves behind.

Anthony “Tony” Wayer passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 58 in Brookfield, WI. Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI, Tony was known for his charisma, ambition, and love of adventure – qualities he poured into building and riding motorcycles. He was regarded as an excellent salesman, sharp dresser, and hard worker. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing billiards and bingo, grilling out, and listening to 80s-90s rock music. Tony lived for the summer, spending countless hours at festivals, fishing, and soaking up the sun at the lake. He had a knack for home renovation, building a deck, jungle gym, and pool, and taking meticulous care of the lawn and yard. Tony will be remembered for his outgoing personality and hearty laughter.

He is survived by his children: Daniel, Joelle, and Mitchell Wayer, as well as their mother Jennifer Kilby and daughter Brooklyn Wayer; his siblings: James Wayer (Michelle Jones) and Cynthia (Joe) Peroceschi; his partner, Sabina Borgen; and other family and friends. Eric Jurgensen, 61 of West Bend, passed away April 29, 2025 at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee from complications of a stroke.

Eric was born August 29, 1963 to Gene & Linda (Smith) Jurgensen. He graduated Riverdale High School in 1981 and UW Madison in 1986 with a degree in journalism and broadcasting. His love of broadcasting led him to his current job with Magnum Radio whom he had been with since 1994. His radio name was Rick Jensen. He was a disk jockey for many years for all types of events. Being kind of kid at heart, he enjoyed putting together difficult lego sets. He had a sense of accomplishment when he would finish them. He said they helped in keeping the dexterity in his shortened fingers. He grew up in Wisconsin but Louisiana, specifically New Orleans was his heart home, where he visited many times. His articulate commanding voice will be missed over many Wisconsin airways.

Per Eric's wishes there will be no formal services. He is survived by his mother, Linda Scanlon, 3 sisters Pamela (David) Shaw, Deidre Erickson, and Sarah (Jon) Galster, 2 brothers James and Carl. Nieces Cassandra (Lee) VanCleef, Diana Shaw, Danille (Alex) Vlasak, Chelsey Clark, nephews Mason & Tate Glaster and Caleb Clark. Great nieces Hazel VanCleef, Elliah & Brianna Vlasak and great nephews Lane Bell (the Lanester as Rick fondly called him), Braydyn & Masyn Nicholson and Carter Vlasak. Eric leaves behind many other friends and relatives. Preceded in death by his father, Gene, stepmother, Carmen, an infant sister Katie and grandparents Melvin and Bernice Smith and Carl and Estella Jurgensen.

Naomi Dawn Pietzsch, born on October 24, 1977, in Oahu, Hawaii, passed away on November 15, 2024, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She was 47 years old.

Naomi spent her early childhood in Hawaii before moving to Wisconsin in 1984 at the age of six. She embraced both her Hawaiian roots and Midwestern upbringing, blending them into a life filled with grace and individuality. In 2018, she returned to Hawaii, living on Maui for three years before coming back to Wisconsin.

Professionally, Naomi dedicated over two decades to Environmental Innovations, where her work left a meaningful impact. Most recently, she brought her characteristic warmth and dedication to her role at That's Amore.

Naomi is lovingly remembered by her three children: Malia (18), Jonah (17), and Leilani (1). She is also survived by her mother, Christine Pietzsch; her three sisters: Angela Sommerfeld (Partner Robert Vincent and daughters Sophira and Alexandria), Glori Butero (Husband Troy Butero and children Justice, Zyon and Star), and Emali Day (Husband Dennis Day and children Kona, Hina and Asa); her partner, Richard Szweda; and his daughter Cecilia; her ex-husband Ryan Stanell (father of Malia and Jonah). Her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Naomi has been cremated, and her ashes will be spread by her immediate family in Hawaii—a heartfelt tribute to the place where her journey began.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest peacefully surrounded by the beauty of the islands that shaped her spirit.

Bernard "Ben" Schoorlemmer, age 92, passed away on April 5, 2025, in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, due to complications from a stroke.

Born on April 11, 1932, in Zwolle, Holland, Ben immigrated to the United States in 1962 with his wife, Jeanine. They made their home in Chicago, where they established a foreign language translation service which their son Patrick joined in 1990. Fluent in seven languages, Ben was passionately dedicated to this work until retiring in 2020.

Ben and Jeanine also resided in Cape Coral, Florida, before eventually settling in Troy, Wisconsin.

Ben is survived by his wife Jeanine; son Patrick and daughter-in-law Dawn; and grandchildren Thomas, Ethan, and Anna.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center, Holton Manor, and Aurora Health at Home for their skilled and compassionate care.

In accordance with Ben's wishes, there will be no visitation or services.

A much-loved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Renie Bowhousen, 80, of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and most recently Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, passed away on April 1 with beloved family members present. She was born in Wausau, Wisconsin to Lorraine Wood and Robert Kilmer on February 12, 1945. She attended and graduated from Goodrich High School in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, class of 1963. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Doug Bowhousen; son Rick Bowhousen of Elkhorn; daughter, Sheree Nelson of Milwaukee and granddaughters, Faith, Paige, Caitlin, Annalise and Lilly; sisters, Penny Coulahan and Laurie Young as well as many loved nephews and nieces. She is also survived by her best friend, Sharon Blindauer. She was preceded in death by grandson, Shane Bowhousen; sons, Mark and Glynn Bowhousen; mother, Lorraine Boudry; sister, Bobbie Kolner, mother-in-law, Alice Bowhousen and cousin, Jerome Wood.

Renie found tremendous joy in spending time with and spoiling her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with the rest of her family and friends. She was an avid flower and plant gardener throughout her lifetime. She loved watching and feeding birds in her yard, especially her favorites, hummingbirds and cardinals. She loved playing cards with a group of her beloved women friends. She also enjoyed playing golf and tennis and watching her children and grandchildren play competitive tennis. She was especially endeared by all her granddogs, Lindy, Dusty, Bailey and Jackson.

She and husband, Doug would have been married for 60 years on April 3, 2025. They were a shining example of getting through tough and challenging times as well as celebrating the good throughout marriage. Doug was constantly at her side the past several months as she fought through several physical and emotional hurdles. Theirs was a true lasting love.

Services will be held at Newcomer in Green Bay, Wisconsin on Saturday, April 12. Visitation from 12-2pm, with a service to follow at 2pm. Gathering and a meal for family and friends to follow with place to be determined.

Donald P. Fraundorf passed away March 28th, 2025 at the age of 80 years at his home. He was born to Margaret Fraundorf (Schaefer) in Hartford, Wi on August 20th, 1944.

Don is survived by his three children Joe Lang II(Stacy), of Omro, Glen Lang (Ashley), of Campellsport and Tammy Fraundorf, of Appleton, grandchildren, Cody, Kyle(Allie), Autumn, Karma, Eric and Lorelai, great grandchildren, Mia, Karson and Jaxson. Brothers, Robert(Judi), of Port Washington and Richard(Bonnie) of Milwaukee and sister, Joan, of West Bend. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and other family. He is preceded in death by his mom, Margaret, brother and sisters Kenneth, Sally, Shirley, Beverly and Gloria and most recently his nephew Kenneth.

Don was married for many years to Glenna Rohde. They divorced in 1994, but remained very close up until his death. When he was a child he loved to go to the Schaefer family farm. As an adult he loved to deer hunt with his sons Joe and Glen, brothers, Robert and Richard and his nephew Kenny. He also loved spending time with family, dancing, Elvis Presely, Dolly Parton, Cher and other music from the 50's and 60's.

There will be no funeral services at this time, but there will be a Celebration of Life to be held later this summer. Date and time will be announced at a later date.

A very special thanks goes out to my cousin, Linda Cherry(James) for helping my dad get the resources he needed to help him.

Millicent Weber, 94, passed away peacefully at her home after an illness, on March 19,2025, and was reunited with her beloved husband, Dr. John “Jack” C. Weber Sr. Millicent was born September 13, 1930, in Madison, WI to Thomas S. Fuller and Agnes (nee Baumgartner) Fuller.

After graduation, Millicent worked for and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying art and working in the research labs at the university. She married Dr. John Weber in Madison in 1965. In Beaver Dam, Millicent was active in the arts, volunteering at the elementary schools with Arts Alive - teaching students about art. She also volunteered with PAVE, The Sieppel Homestead and the Center for the Arts, helping put together various art exhibits. Millicent loved to travel, antiquing, gardening, art, reading, watching Badger football and basketball, and spending her summers at Elkhart Lake with family and friends.

Millicent is survived by her two children John (Shelby) Weber Jr. of Appleton WI, and Brynn (Jeff) Porter of Prairie Hills, TX as well as grandchildren Morgan (Ricky) Breneman, Tabatha Kidd, and John “Jack” Weber, great grandchildren Ellie and Cooper Breneman, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. John “Jack” C. Weber, Sr., brothers Thomas Fuller, Robert Fuller, and David Fuller, sisters Doris Hodges and Mary Fuller and sister-in-law, Marion Lussier.

There will be a private gathering held to celebrate Millicent’s life, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Elkhart Lake Improvement Association or the Milwaukee Art Museum, in her name.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at both Commonheart Hospice Care and Cornerstone Caregiving, especially caregivers Missy and Brianna respectively, who gave Millicent such wonderful and compassionate care. Additionally, the family is very grateful to Millicent’s neighbors, Dan and Colleen Nelson and Jim and Pat Kleinmann for assisting Millicent all these years and keeping a watchful eye over her. Robert Bohnen

Robert Bohnen Sr, 81, of Pewaukee (and formerly Kenosha), WI, was called home on Tuesday, March 18th, while surrounded by the love of his family. Robert was born on July 27th, 1943, in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Peter and Eleanor (Phillips) Bohnen. He graduated from New Trier High School in 1963. Robert married Diane on September 26, 1987, in Kenosha.

Born with a zest for life, Robert was a true American Patriot. He served his country with honor during the Viet Nam era as part of the Army Special Forces from 1963-1966 and was an Honored Veteran of the Stars and Stripes Honor Flight - Mission #66 on November 5th, 2022 out of Milwaukee Mitchell International Airport - one of his most cherished memories. A natural born sportsman, he shared his love of competition and camaraderie by coaching women’s softball and boys’ baseball, inspiring athletes with his dedication and encouragement. His tenacity and drive led him to establish two business ventures - Bohnen's Office Equipment of Lake Villa, IL, and Rainbow International Carpet Cleaning, a franchise of Lake County, IL.

Robert’s talents and interests were as diverse as they were vibrant. He was an avid bowler and a spirited square dancer. His beloved Yamaha 750 Special was a source of pride and joy, reflecting his adventurous spirit and his love of the open road. He maintained a hobby farm in Pleasant Prairie and enjoyed many evenings riding his quarter horse, Misty, and raising his Australian Shepards. A man of community, he enriched the lives of others through his involvement in organizations like 4-H, the Kenosha Kennel Club, and the Boy Scouts. He belonged to First Assembly of God in Kenosha, where he was an active member in the various family care groups, choir, and drama productions during Christmas and Easter cantatas. Above all, Robert was a man of faith. On Easter Sunday in 1988, he gave his life to Jesus, a cherished commitment he carried with him for the remainder of his days.

Robert retired with Chrysler in Kenosha, having served as a Chief Steward, but his most cherished role was that of a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather—a job he performed effortlessly, with unmatched devotion and pride.

Survivors include his children: Robert (Barbara) Bohnen of Kenosha, WI, Edward (Christine) Bohnen of Wood Dale, IL, Valerie (Gary) Olson of Pewaukee; stepdaughter Kelli Gayhart, stepson Donald (Erin) Waldman, both of Kenosha; sister-in-law, Gail Schwaiger of Sparta; niece, Karen Schwaiger of Kenosha; nephew, Mike Schwaiger (Amy) of Trevor, along with countless grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Leo Schwaiger, mother-in-law, May Schwaiger, his brother-in-in law, Larry Schwaiger, and his wife, Diane.

Glenn A. Maske passed away on March 7th, 2025, at his

Home in West Allis, WI. Glenn was born on Friday November 13th, 1959, in

Tomah, WI. Glenn was the son of Hollis and Rosemary Maske.

He attended elementary school in Milwaukee, WI and then upon moving to East Troy

with his family he attended East Troy Middle School and East Troy High School.

Glenn was a 1978 graduate of East Troy High School in which he just celebrated his Class Reunion with his classmates at Alpine Valley.

Glenn later married Deborah (Czarnecki) Maske, East Troy, WI., in East Troy, WI, December of 1981. Together Glenn and Deborah had a son Curtis Allen Maske. Upon having their son Curtis, Glenn and Deborah Maske made their home in Eagle, Wisconsin. Their son Curtis later blessed them with a beautiful grandson, Mason. Mason now has a brother named Cameron.

Glenn served his Country for six years with the 128th Infantry Army National Guard in Burlington, WI. During his years at the 128th Infantry, he deployed to Germany for training purposes and other local and state duties with his battalion. Glenn worked for 30 years at Hansen Storage and was a member of the Teamsters Union Local 200 for 30 years.

Later in Life Glenn met JoAnn Dale, his life partner and together they made their home for years in

Glendale, WI. JoAnn Dale has a son, Timothy Dale, and she and Glenn enjoyed traveling to Delaware to visit their grandchildren, Zachary, James, and Mila.

He was preceded in death by his father Hollis Maske, brother David Maske and Grandparents, Webster (Hap) Maske, Martha Maske Zettle, Charles Zettle, Phillip DeRemer Sr., and Mary DeRemer Rux. Also preceding him in death was Robert and Carol Czarnecki, many aunts, and uncles.

Glenn is survived by his cherished son Curtis Maske, his treasured grandchildren, his mother Rosemary Maske, his dearest sister Donna Martin (Russell), sister Dianna Beyer, (Theodore) and Deborah Maske. Glenn is also survived by his nephew Randy Martin (Keara), his niece Denise Meyer (David), niece Amanda Neusen, nephew Cody Mayberry (Adrienne), niece Jennifer Mayberry (Nicholas), and their children, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Glenn enjoyed road trips with JoAnn, spending time with his son Curtis, spending time with his grandchildren, Classic Country Music, Elvis Presley, eating out, watching wrestling and lottery scratch offs.

A Celebration of Life will be May 31st, at New Vision Church N14 W27995 Silvernail Road, Pewaukee, WI. Visitation from 1 to 2 pm and Service to Follow at 2:00pm. After the celebration there will be a dinner and a gathering in Waukesha at Club 400, 322 Williams Street, Waukesha, WI upstairs in their Private Banquet room. Born March of 1950 and passed away in his home and bed, January 17th 2025 at the age of 74. He went on “His Terms” the only way he did anything!

A loving father to Shelli, grandad to Camille, Anthony (Nicole), and great grandad to Antonio. Jerry was a father figure to Joe and Theo. He is preceded in death by his parents Charles (Bud) Culbertson and Otillia “Tillie” (Nee Pechacek), sisters Joyce, and Janice Marshall, brother Charles (Buddy) and Susan Culbertson. He was loved by his nieces Dawn, Jenni, Tricia, and Sweet Ali and his nephew Chad (Katheryn).

Jerry was born and raised in the Milwaukee and Wauwatosa area. After high school at Tosa West, he was a mechanic and followed suit in the Sprinkler Fitter Field Union #183 until retirement. He comes from a long line of proud family members. His grandfather was one of the founding union members.

Big Jer had a love of tinkering, Harleys, beer, union meetings, the show Gunsmoke, his dogs Rocky and Julio, not in any particular order. He loved being on his “Hog” traveling to many states and bike rallies.

He will be dearly missed by his family, friends, and neighbors. He was a very unique and stubborn man. He would boast that he did not shave his whiskers or cut his hair in over 20 years.

A memorial and celebration of life will be held Saturday March 8th from 11am to 2pm with a prayer service to follow at his beloved Union Hall (W175 N5700 Technology Dr Menomonee Falls Wi 53051).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the animal rescue in Jerrys name or monetary means to the family to help cover recent medical/funeral expenses.

Charlotte peacefully passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 94. Charlotte was born on December 8, 1930 and lived a life full of compassion, dedication and joy. As a Special Education Aide, she touched on the lives of many students, offering support, kindness, and encouragement. Her unwavering commitment to helping others extended beyond her professional life. Come rain or shine, snow or sleet, Charlotte spent many years delivering bakery goods to the less fortunate in her community, a weekly tradition she cherished deeply.

Linda Lee Fait, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, in the presence of loved ones at her home of 47 years in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. She was 83 years old.

Born on November 27, 1941, in Maddock, North Dakota, Linda was the beloved daughter of Herbert and Mildred Lillemon. She grew up alongside her sister Faye (Puhlmann), who predeceased her. Linda’s life took a beautiful turn when she met Gordon L. Fait while attending Custer High School in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their love story blossomed into over 64 years of marriage filled with devotion and countless adventures together.

Linda’s greatest pride and joy came from her family. She was a devoted mother to Jeffrey (Jane) Fait, Jennifer (Harry) Oberle, Janeen (Mark) Fait-Herkert, and Julie Fait. Her role as a grandmother brought her endless happiness as she spent cherished moments with her grandchildren, Whitney Davison (Chris Grosbier), Kacie Davison (Lukas Olsson), and Hailie Oberle. Linda also played a loving role in the lives of her niece Brooke (Alvin) Bross and nephew Greg (Warren) Allen. Her home was often the heart of family gatherings where love and laughter created lasting memories.

An adventurous soul with a passion for travel, Linda especially enjoyed exploring the southwestern United States alongside Gordon. Many of their journeys were enriched by sharing them with their children and grandchildren. Known for her nurturing heart and selfless nature, Linda touched countless lives through her boundless love and unwavering support.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Horizon Hospice for their compassionate care during Linda’s final days.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on January 18th from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Germantown Senior Center, W162N11960 Park Ave., Germantown, WI 53022. Beth was a loving sister, aunt and great aunt. She was an animal lover who enjoyed gardening. Beth played both softball and volleyball at a highly skilled level. She was an avid sports enthusiast, Packer Backer and Brewers fan.

Beth is survived by her companion of 30 years, Robert (Earl) Thompson, brothers Paul, Marc & Todd and sisters Jane Mydlowski Sadler(George) & Kate J. Barbieri.

Beth was preceded in death by her parents Stuart & Jeannine(Parmalee) Stapleton, sister Anne T., niece Terran M. Stapleton and brother-in-law Gregory M. Mydlowski.

She will be greatly missed by many, many friends and family.

Born 5-29-1955 and passed suddenly at age 69 on December 31st 2024. He is survived by his sister Rose Leben (Tom) niece Jennifer and nephew Brian. Gerard loved learning and continued to take engineering classes well past his mechanical engineering degree and was currently working at We Energies. Gerard could fix almost anything, especially cars. Gerard had an old car that he was able to keep running past 450 thousand miles.

Since Gerard was in his teens he built and raced slot cars. His dad got him involved with the Boys Club building slot cars for the kids to use and running a track for them. As an adult Gerard would race slot cars in meets in Chicago, Indiana and locally. Gerard also enjoyed attending car races at Road America and other tracks.

Gerard enjoyed working outside and was in the process of clearing land so he could build a workshop where he could work on his cars and other things to keep him busy into retirement. Unfortunately, Gerard was not able to realize his dream as he died shy of retirement.

A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.

Marcella (Marcie) Malnarick, a beloved, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024, in Milwaukee, WI after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's and ultimately succumbing to a stroke. Born on September 17, 1949, in Chicago, IL, Marcie will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and the deep connections she formed with those around her, especially children.

Marcie had a meticulous touch as a homemaker, taking pride in keeping her surroundings spotless—often with a humorous knack for swiping the cup from your hand to wash it before you finished your drink. A talented cook, her kitchen was the heart of her home, where she lovingly prepared meals for her family, including her famous homemade marinara and meatballs, and countless other signature recipes. Her creative spirit shone in her love for interior design, as she regularly transformed her home with fresh ideas, a fresh coat of paint, and in her skilled stained-glass artistry, which she shared with family, friends, and at craft fairs. Marcie was an avid gardener who took great pride in tending her home garden and contributing her time and expertise to her local church, as well as sharing this cherished passion with her sister Judy.

Family was the cornerstone of Marcie's life. She shared an especially profound bond with her identical mirror twin sister Marlene and held close relationships with her siblings Judy and Bob—along with their spouses Bill, Dennis, and Dee.Their gatherings were filled with laughter, spaghetti dinners (complete with occasionally burnt garlic bread), and fond memories that dated back to their teenage years. Marcie found particular joy in nurturing children.She doted on all her grandchildren—Luke, Anne, Cailey, and Jordyn—caring for them as babies and celebrating their milestones. In recent years, she delighted in spending time with her great-grandchild, Oliver. While living near cousins in Mt. Greenwood, Chicago, she formed a special bond with Carly, Mckenzie, Gabrielle, Sydney, and Fiona, cheering them on at sporting events and savoring her time babysitting them.

Preceding her in death were her parents Casimir & Josephine Paluch. She leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, Bernard L; her children, Bernard R (wife Laurie) and their daughters Cailey (husband Jacob Lemke & son Oliver) and Jordyn, Aaron (wife Britt) and their children Luke and Anne, and youngest son Cory; her siblings Bob Paluch (Dee), Marlene Waleszonia (William), and Judy Jordan (Dennis); Bernard’s brother & wife Charles & Cheryl Malnarick; as well as numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. As her brother Bob reflected, "Those we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings into infinity. Like a bird singing in the rain, let grateful memories survive in time of sorrow."

The family thanks the staff at the Froedtert Hospital and Horizon Hospice for their kind and compassionate care during Marcie’s final days.

A private service will be held in Marcie's memory. Contributions in her honor may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Marcie's warmth, creativity, and love for family will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.

Frank Goll, of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 83. Frank was the wonderful son of Frank Goll and Theresa Huber of Milwaukee Wisconsin. He was blessed with a loving son, Greg Goll, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and his beautiful wife, Karen Goll (Ulan).

Frank’s greatest joy was his seven grandchildren. In Las Vegas, he had the beautiful Gabriella Rose Goll whom he affectionately called his “Pumpkin”, and the handsome Gabriel Joseph Goll, his “little man.” In Racine, Wisconsin, he had five more grandchildren. His oldest was Alyssa Niechlanski (Brian), known as “Butterball” or sometimes his “little snitch.” Then came his team of four boys, now all grown men. Jacob Poffenberger, whom he called “Wheels” for being faster than a speeding bullet. Jared Mai loved playing cards, earning him the nickname “The Big Ace.” Andrew Poffenberger, also known as “The Tank” although no one can remember the source. Lastly, Ryan Mai also known as “The Bowler,” whom Grandpa believed would one day achieve a perfect 300 game. He would tell Ryan, “I know it’s coming.”

Frank will be deeply missed by his loving and supportive wife, Maria Goll, his three daughters, Shelli Madisen, Laura Mai, and Carrie McCarthy, and his favorite son-in-law, Herb Mai.

We love you Frank and we will all miss you.

Debbie is survived by her daughters: Kristin Whipple, Lindsay Whipple and Kimberly Whipple. She was blessed with 14 grandchildren: Alana, Roberto, JaMela, Jasiah, Israel, Koa, Kylo, Julien, Angelo, Damiyon, Lexi, Isabella, Johan and John. She is also survived by her siblings; Susan (Edward) Gundrum, Robin (Jeff) Owen, Brian (Mary) Whipple, Catherine Jaramillo, and Laura (David) Littlefield, and 15 nieces and nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Caldwell and Eileen Whipple.

A memorial service will be held at Southbrook Church 11010 W. St. Martin Rd. Franklin, WI. on Saturday December 14, 2024, with visitation from 3:00-4:30 and service from 4:30-5:00.

Michael was the beloved son of Robert and Maryann. Michael married Jeanne in 1991, and they were blessed with two children, Kayla and Brandon. He was also a proud grandfather of Aria. Additionally, Michael is survived by his brother David (Karen), sister Kathy, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael attended Lynde & Harry Bradley Technology & Trade School and went on to further his education at Milwaukee Area Technical College. He was a dedicated Knights of Columbus organization member and volunteered many hours of his time.

Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his Marinette County, Wisconsin cottage. Michael will be dearly missed by his family and all who knew him.

Bob was born on July 5, 1947. He lived his entire life in the Milwaukee area after being raised by his parents, Joseph and Helen, whom he dearly loved. He graduated from Francis Jordan High School in 1965, and obtained a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1969. He spent his entire career in sales, for which he was a natural. Ever the extrovert, he was never shy about telling you what was on his mind. He liked to play golf and relax in the sun on any hot summer day. His favorite "home away from home" was Las Vegas, and always spoke fondly of his trips there. He loved watching sports, especially horse racing, and referred to himself regularly as a Damer in honor of his adopted school, Notre Dame.

He is survived by his children Cindy and Bob; his sisters Kathy and Pat; his grandchildren Megan, Justin, Samantha, Kerwyn, Trystin, and Jordan; several great grandchildren; and his dear friend and former wife, Cheryl.

A Catholic Mass will take place at Holy Family Parish (4825 N Wildwood Ave, Whitefish Bay) on December 14th at 1pm with a luncheon to follow at Cindy's house (826 W Riverview Dr, Glendale).

Janice was the beloved wife of Thomas Hablewitz until his passing in 2020. She was the cherished daughter of Gertrude and Roy Slicker (both deceased). Janice is survived by her children Robert Fowler, Deborah Legwinski (Don Harling), Kevin (Tammy) Hablewitz, and Dana Schmitt (Jim Barian); incredibly proud grandmother of Justin, Katie, Brittany, Jacob, Nathan, Amanda, Bella, and great-grandmother of Eli.

She is also preceded in death by her brother Thomas (Olive) Slicker, sister Donna Gigl, brother-in-law Michael Gigl, honorary sister Sharon Winterbottom, and is survived by her sisters Joan Slicker and Carol (Mark) Deprez, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Janice found joy in many things, including cheering for Wisconsin sports teams, playing cards and games with family, and crocheting. She had a passion for reading and loved to travel, visiting all 50 states with Tom and enjoying adventures at the Biloxi casinos. Gramma Jan enjoyed hosting Pizza Fridays and stocking the "prize drawer" for her grandchildren.

Mary Lovetro was a memorable, animated mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She passed away at the age of 73

A life-long resident of Kenosha, Mary was born to Helen and Anthony Lovetro on February 21st 1951. She was the oldest sibling of two brothers, Anthony and Michael Lovetro; and one sister, Patricia (Lovetro) Feest. Mary graduated from Bradford High School in 1969. Mary had one daughter, Jeana Ace (Hanson), and one grandson, Antony Ace. As Mary loved all things macabre, she enjoyed watching scary movies and visiting haunted houses with Antony. Time spent with Antony was precious to Mary and she will be remembered as a caring grandmother.

Mary enjoyed cooking (and was known for her famous liver and onions), writing children’s stories, and even tried her hand at stand-up comedy under the name “Crazy Mary”. She embraced witchcraft and had an impressive book collection. She especially appreciated Anne Rice books and had a life-long wish to visit the author’s home in New Orleans.

James was born on April 4th, 1966, in Milwaukee WI, to Mary & Robert Sr Richardson. He grew up alongside his 4 siblings, Joe, Robert Jr, Jennifer, & Lynette Richardson.

Since he was a little boy, James was always ambitious. He successfully owned and operated his business, Complete Painting and Carpentry for 15+ years.

He was a music enthusiast and avid guitar player. He could always be heard whistling or singing songs throughout his day.

James was a lover of holidays. He enjoyed decorating, gift giving & hosting get-togethers for his family & friends. His amazing sense of humor and quick wit always made him the life of the party on any occasion.

James’s daughter Kali Richardson was the light of his entire world. Living close by, he cherished the walks, talks, laughs, & meals he shared with her. They could often be found hunting down deals at rummage sales together. He found joy in the stories and pictures from Kali’s many adventures. She will miss him deeply.

Marc A. Rausch, 69, of Burlington, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Aurora Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous two-year battle with cancer.

Born on June 28, 1955, in Burlington, Wisconsin, Marc was the son of Bernard and Suzanne (nee Longley) Rausch. He spent his early life in Burlington, graduating from Burlington High School with the Class of 1973. He earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1978 and later completed an MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management in 2004. On July 30, 1977, Marc married Lisa Gabriel in Burlington. After a brief time in the Milwaukee area, they settled in Burlington, where they raised their two sons and lived in the same home on Jefferson Street for 38 years. Marc's dedication to his family was unwavering, and his love for them was evident in every aspect of his life.

Marc's career spanned several major companies in Milwaukee, where he worked as a computer programmer, IT professional, and project manager in financial services, government, insurance, and pharmaceutical logistics. In his later years, he discovered his true passion as an Adjunct Instructor, teaching mathematics at Bryant & Stratton College.

Marc’s greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Whether tailgating at a Brewers game or enjoying Milwaukee’s German Fest, he enthusiastically embraced life. A proud Wisconsinite, Marc was an avid fan of the Brewers, Bucks, and Packers, though he lamented never seeing his beloved Brewers win a World Series.

He was deeply involved in his sons' lives, coaching Burlington Youth Bowling and Burlington Community Ed Basketball. As his sons' interests grew into politics and culinary arts, Marc found new passions in discussing politics over a fine meal. He was a longtime member of the Men’s Friday Night Industrial Bowling League, the Burlington Historical Society, and more recently, the National Sons of the American Revolution.

Marc is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lisa; sons, Scott (Patricia) Rausch of Annandale, Virginia, and Kevin (Amber) Rausch of Delavan, Wisconsin; step-grandson Jaiden Bowers, and the new “light of his life,” granddaughter Adaline Rausch, both of Delavan. He is also survived by his beloved aunts, Beverly and Nancy Rausch of Burlington, Jean Connors of Maryville, IL, nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father Ralph Henning, in-laws Walter and Barbara Gabriel, and several aunts, uncles, and a cousin.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Wesley Papenfuss, Dr. Malik Bandealy, Dr. Michael Baumgartner, and their teams for their care and compassion throughout Marc’s illness. Arthur Robert Helmenstein was born in Fort Lee, Virginia to John Helmenstein and Frances Helmenstein on March 8th, 1973. He passed away in his home on October 15th, 2024.

Arthur was a man who loved deeply. He was an emotional man, perhaps the most emotional man I’ve ever met. I cannot count the amount of times in my life that I have seen him cry, but it was many. Arthur showed vulnerability in times when others would have shied away from emotions and built walls. Instead of turning a blind eye, in those times, Arthur reached out a hand. If he had nothing, he would give the shirt off of his back to help others because he knew how it felt to be in their position. As his child, I recognize the blessing that it is to have inherited the heart of the person that loved so deeply and completely. He had a smile that lit up a room. His laughter was a gift and it was impossible not to join in and laugh at whatever ridiculous story he told.

Despite living in Wisconsin, he was a die hard Steelers fan. Should you let him, he would drag you into a debate about whether the Steelers or the Packers were the superior team. Make no mistake, he would always argue the Steelers were the best and no amount of reasoning could sway him.

Arthur taught those he left behind many things: what it means to forgive, that Kermit the frog is an asshole, pool is all about the angle, you never really lose until you stop trying, the Waffle House has incredibly superb food, lose yourself by Eminem is an anthem to start your dreams with, and how to be loyal and dedicated no matter what you’re facing.

Arthur struggled with a lifetime of mental health challenges. He suffered from the disease but also the shame and stigma that came along with it. This presented itself in many ways and at times led him astray from the people who loved him most. He faced challenges and made mistakes, but Arthur also became a man many were proud to call a father. Arthur is memorialized by his children Jessica Williams, Dallas Freeman, Jordyn Gonzalez, John Helmenstein, and Destini Helmenstein; and his bonus children Seth Perez, Resse Perez, Myracle Tatreau along with his partner, Rebecca Perez. He is also survived by his siblings, Lou Alexander, Rusty Helmenstein, Ruth and Derrick Marshall, Jackie and Carl Helmenstein-Hall as well as many nieces and nephews. We will carry his memory with us always, until we can meet again.

Richard “Rich” Klein, 74, of Brookfield, Wisconsin passed away on October 9, 2024 at his home while surrounded by his family.

Rich was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Samuel and Florence Klein (Kannenberg) on April 3, 1950 as the rambunctious middle child who grew to love the outdoors. He graduated from South Division High School in 1968 where he played football and trumpet. At 19 years old, Rich enlisted in the Navy and was stationed in Guam during the Vietnam War. He served in active duty for nearly 3 years before being honorably discharged. He then led an active life as an anti-war protester and continued to support veteran rights for the rest of his life. Rich eventually made his way to a fulfilling career at the United States Postal Service, working as a general carpenter across southeastern Wisconsin post offices until his retirement after 26 years of service.

Rich was a talented musician and a great showman on accordion and penny whistle. He was a true Mr. Fix It, and expertly handled all of the family plumbing, electrical, and car maintenance. He spent many hours of his free time in his workshop, happily restoring old or damaged instruments to their former glory. Rich was a masterful cribbage, dominoes, and gin rummy player, and enjoyed poking fun when he was in the lead. He had a passion for maps, atlases, history books, and art, and he always wanted to learn more. Most importantly, Rich was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and friend.

He was preceded in death by his parents Samuel and Florence and his brother Thomas. He is survived by his loyal and beloved wife of nearly 40 years, Carol; his children Aaron, Jordan, and Anna (Neal); his stepchildren Daniel, Rebecca (Jonathan), Rachel (Lucas); Jesse (Jenny), and Peter; his sister Susan (Chester), ten grandchildren; and many cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 8, 2024 at Brookfield Lutheran Church (18500 Burleigh Road, Brookfield, WI 53045). Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm and the service will begin at 4:00 pm, concluding with military honors. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you donate to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Rich’s honor.

Ann Skaar, age 54, passed away on October 3, 2024, in Milwaukee, WI. Born on July 7, 1970, Ann was renowned for her vibrant personality, being the life of the party, and her generous and kind nature.

Ann is survived by her loving husband Jeremy, her daughter Olivia, her son Cooper, and her sister Dawn Wilke. She was a devoted mother, wife, and cherished by all who knew her. Ann's presence will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Throughout her life, Ann had a passion for traveling, especially to her favorite destinations: New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Mexico. These places brought her immense joy and created lasting memories.

A gathering to honor and celebrate Ann's life will be held at Hector’s, located at 7118 W State St, Wauwatosa, WI 53213, on Saturday, November 2nd, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Brian Dennis Daveler, born May 29, 1959, on an Air Force base in Newfoundland, passed away on September 18, 2024. He was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Brian is preceded in death by his father, Earl Daveler, and his nephew, Bob Daveler. He is survived by his two cherished children, Zachery (Taylor) Daveler and Shayna Daveler, as well as his adored grandchild, Ellerie Daveler. Brian also leaves behind his loving mother, Lavonne Driver, and his brother, Terry (Michelle) Daveler, along with their children and grandchildren: Tabitha Daveler (Malia, Osker) and Lavonne (Ryan) Daveler (Sierra and Kaleb).

Growing up in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, Brian forged deep connections with family and friends. He shared a special bond with his former wife, Karyn Niebuhr, as they raised their two beautiful children in Madison, Wisconsin. An enthusiastic father, Brian took immense pride in Zachery and Shayna's accomplishments and cherished every moment spent with them.

A devoted Badger football fan, Brian loved attending games and wearing his UW apparel with pride. His passion for the team was infectious, as he eagerly followed new recruits and celebrated their growth and success on the field.

Brian's love for music was a significant part of his life. He enjoyed attending music festivals and was always excited to discover new rock bands. He found joy in sharing meals and recipes, often helping his mother with day-to-day activities.

Brian's generous spirit was known to all. He had an infectious smile coupled with a thunderous laugh and was always ready to lend a helping hand, placing family first and offering support to friends in need. He eagerly anticipated the arrival of his grandson, a testament to his enduring love for family.

Brian was truly a special human being, and those who knew him will carry his memory in their hearts forever. A celebration of his life will be held at Buck & Honey's in Sun Prairie on October 16th between 1pm - 4pm, where friends and family are invited to share stories and honor his legacy.

Donna Lee McCure of Milwaukee, Wisconsin passed away at home among loved ones on September 1st, 2024 at the age of 67 following a long and courageous battle with illness.

Donna grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and graduated from Carthage College with a BA in Elementary Education. She and her husband Paul McCure moved to Georgia, where Donna began raising her children while tending the family's hobby farm, owning and managing a liquor store, and breeding and showing purebred cats. After relocating to Wisconsin following Paul's untimely death, Donna graduated with honors from WCTC with a degree in Nursing. Donna was a caring and conscientious nurse, dedicated to ensuring her patients received the best of care. Donna later met her long-term partner Lyle Burger and they settled down in Milwaukee; they liked to say that their first date never really ended, as they were virtually inseparable after they met.

Donna's true passion was raising her children and being a homemaker. She was a fantastic cook and showed her love for others through her cooking. She also loved cleaning -- not only enjoying keeping her own home virtually spotless, but running her own cleaning business as well. She had a great capacity for love as revealed in how she cared for her children as a mother, sacrificing as needed to ensure they had the best opportunities in life. Donna also had a big heart for animals. She would lovingly dote not only on her own pet cats, but also the many stray animals that were fortunate enough to find sanctuary in her backyard. She had a great time traveling down to Mexico several times with Lyle, as well as enjoying the Northwoods of Wisconsin throughout her life. She loved being outdoors in nature and joining in activities such as hiking, camping, fishing, boating, ATVing, and snowmobiling.

Donna was her own person. She was a survivor who found a way to get through anything life threw at her, learning to solve problems as they arose and doing whatever needed to be done. She was wonderfully honest and had a way of telling stories that made those around her laugh.

Donna trusted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and now has eternal life in heaven.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband Paul McCure and father Stuart Pearson. She is survived by her mother Lois Pearson; brother Scott (Beth) Pearson; sisters Barb (Carlos) Sanchez, Linda Newbloom, Ginny (Michael) Wagner, and Amy (Marty) Demmings; loving partner Lyle Burger; daughter Sarah "Dakota" McCure; stepsons Paul (Britt) McCure and John (Nichole) McCure; and many nieces and nephews.

It is with great sadness the family of Jerad Gordon announce his unexpected passing on August 28, 2024 at the age of 35. He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Kelly Gordon and TJ Zollicoffer on May 12, 1989. Jerad graduated from Port Washington High School.

Jerad loved Wisconsin sports teams, especially the Green Bay Packers. He had the kindest heart and never wanted to see someone struggle. Spending time with family was Jerads favorite thing to do. Jerad appreciated music and it provided comfort to him in challenging times.

Jerad lived in Wisconsin, North Dakoto, and Kansas. Jerad made friends in every city he lived. He made family a priority and formed friendships in every city.

Jerads memory will remain in the hearts of his parents Kelly and TJ; his siblings Katie, Joey, Eric, Kyle, Heather and Steven; maternal grandfather Judson and paternal grandfather TJ Zollicoffer Sr; aunts Kimberly and Teri.

Jerad became an uncle in 2022 and held a very special place in his heart for his niece Valerie. Jerad is further survived by many cousins and friends.

Jerad will join his grandmothers Shirley and Brenda, his uncle Tracy, close friend Rocky, and his sweet dog Prince in Heaven.

Danny Williams passed away on Sunday morning, June 30, 2024 at All Saint Hospital in Racine, Wisconsin at the age of 63 years.

He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Arie Williams and Wondell "Betty" Williams (Aderhold), and his sister Betty Kozminski. He is survived by his siblings, Arlon, Van, Judy and Dana. He is also survived by his son, Christopher Williams, daughter-in-law, Bobbie Williams, 2 grandsons, Joseph and Dominic, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Danny led a wonderful life of almost 64 years and was known as a man of character, humor, and could make friends anywhere he went.

Our hearts are broken as we mourn the loss of our dear sister, Jane Mary Wojcicki. Her bright smile and big heart left us too soon, but we will forever remember her love, kindness and generosity. Jane passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 28, 2024 at the age of 63.

Jane was preceded in death by the two most important people in her life, her son, Joseph R. Smith, and her mother, Betty J. Weller (nee Brammer). While we mourn her death, we take comfort knowing that she has gone to join them.

Jane is survived by her brother John R Wojcicki, and sisters June (Marty) Jurczak, and Jacqueline (Dwayne) Langsdorf; grandson Carsten Smith; and many nieces and nephews.

The family sends a special thank you to Jane’s close friend, Bruce Stromme, who stood by her and helped her these last few months.

Jane will be cremated and her remains will be placed to rest with her son and mother. A private church service will be held in her honor for immediate family and close friends.

Madeline Carol Rollins (nee Smith) 78, of Milwaukee, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 15, 2024 surrounded by family and close friends. She was born on October 7, 1945 to Raymond and Wanda “Connie” Smith and was the youngest of 4 siblings.

Madeline was an avid Packer fan and loved to cheer them on but her best moments were spent tending to her garden that she loved so much and spending time with family and friends whenever she could. She enjoyed taking scenic drives through the countryside and listened to a variety of music from Eric Clapton to Ariana Grande. She was a great crafter and spent countless hours (maybe even years) crafting for the favorite kids in her life.

Madeline supported several charities including St. Jude, The Nature Conservancy, Milwaukee PBS, and the Milwaukee Rescue Mission.

Madeline is survived by her long-time partner, Scott Mulcahy, loving brother Michael, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and plenty of loving cousins.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Fred Rollins, Raymond Smith (Father), Wanda “Connie” Smith (Mother), Patricia Crocker (Sister), and Ray Smith (Brother).

Madeline had a great heart. She was one of those people who made life better for every one around. She cared, she gave, and always saw things in others that most people just didn’t see. She will truly be missed by the countless people that she touched in her lifetime. Rest in Peace, Madeline. We will carry you in our memory and our hearts forever… until we meet again.

Maggie (Marguerite Aimee nee: Ulbert) Thompson, was welcomed into the world by Cathleen Tuohey and Robert Ulbert on October 11, 1984 in Phoenix, Arizona before they returned home to Des Plaines, IL.

Maggie bloomed at the speed of light and with just as much effervescence. As an early talker, Maggie never met a stranger, just a friend she hadn’t talked to yet. Maggie’s magnetic personality won her many friends as she progressed through school; she was even selected class president on a day she was out sick.

Her love of sports naturally paved the way to a cheerleading career where she became a team leader, guiding the team to better understand the game as she called out the difference between offensive and defensive cheers. Maggie found a lasting friendship there with Sylvia; together they created cheers and kept morale up at team events.

Maggie’s life centered on friendship and joy; you could as easily find her playing a game at a park or dancing at a concert as you could find her nestled among her friends in cozy confines of her basement room. Although, if her sisters were having trouble finding Maggie, they needed only to follow the phone cord stretched throughout the corners of the house to find her cheerfully discussing the day’s events with friends. Often referred to as “Mama Maggie," she always had kind advice to offer, gently guiding her friends toward more thoughtful paths.

After transferring to Marquette University, Maggie met Allie and they became joined at the hip as Sorority Sisters. If they weren’t planning Sorority events, they could be found in downtown Milwaukee, dancing the night way.

In her last semester at Marquette, she met her life partner, Justin Thompson. They started their adventure by moving to Mississippi, adopting their beloved dog, Stoli, and eventually moving back to Wisconsin and marrying on May 16, 2009. In Justin, Maggie found her soulmate; a person who understood and loved her for exactly who she was. Together, they navigated life as the best of friends.

Maggie’s career reflected the love and care she put into every aspect of her life. Over the years, Maggie was selected to lead many projects, winning well deserved recognitions from colleagues and managers. In 2017, she joined the Harley Davidson Motor Company, where she found a true home and made many friends who became extended family. Maggie was the Lead of Business Insights in the Service Organization. She excelled working on highly complex data projects and was a trusted advisor to all.

As a die-hard Chicago sports fan, Maggie was thrilled to cheer on her Cubs to a World Series victory. Maggie enjoyed taking scenic motorcycle rides, traveling, camping, designing and completing home projects, and spending time with animals of all kinds.

Maggie will always be remembered as the brightest light in the room, with a captivating smile that will never be forgotten. Although the world feels a little darker today for us all, Maggie’s light has been set free, illuminating us all with the joy and love she exuded throughout her life.

Maggie is survived by her partner: Justin Thompson, cherished pets: Martini, Potato, and Pancake, her parents: Cathleen Tuohey (Howard Hendricksen), and Robert Ulbert, sisters: Renee Tuohey, Caitlyn (Daniel) Szymanski, Emily (Matthew) Mueller, and Aimee Tuohey (Joe Bennett), brother: Arlo (Liz) Ulbert. Neil Thomas Doermann, age 72 of Toledo, Ohio, died from a complication of treating his lung cancer on Friday, June 14 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee. He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 34 years Marilyn, his children Allison, Abigail, and Nicholas, his sister Marilyn Kellum, brother Perry Doermann, many nephews and nieces, adoring friends, and best pal Hazelnut. He is predeceased by parents Dr. Edward Doermann and Mrs. Norma (Portman) Doermann.

Neil grew up on Laskey Road in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 1974. He had a 40+ year career in sales and treating patients as a respiratory therapist. He met his wife Marilyn at St. Francis Hospital in Blue Island, IL, and after the birth of their first daughter, they moved to Menomonee Falls to raise their family.

Always the “cool” uncle/dad/brother, Neil was a legend to his nephews and a hero to his wife and kids. He loved rock and roll and taught his family to love live music through his impressive vinyl collection. He kept a large flower and vegetable garden and enjoyed golfing with his friends from Toledo, rooting for Michigan football, and going to MelWel Lodge to fish and enjoy a beer with his family. He always knew how to let the good times roll. Neil could make a stranger smile and make a friend anywhere he went. Neil’s children and family have countless wonderful memories of his spirit and humor, and they proudly carry on his legacy.

Paul Louis Meier, 40, from Milwaukee WI, passed away surrounded by his sister and mother in the ICU June 4th, 2024, after suffering from congestive heart failure the night of May 29th. Paul is survived by his sister, Erica A. Meier (Steve Brockelman) his mother and stepfather Doreen and James Ryan, and his partner, Ar’shaunte Dunson and her daughter Ava Shaw who affectionately referred to Paul as “Superman,” and many friends. Preceded in death by Paul C. Meier (father), Ron Meier (p. uncle), Cindy Meier (p. aunt), and Louis and Mary Moze (m. Grandparents) and Peter and Emily Meier (p. Grandparents).

In honor and remembrance of Paul, a gathering will take place at The Packing House (900 E. Layton Ave. Milwaukee WI 53207), June 15th from 4-7pm; remarks by family and select others 5-5:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, contributions will be accepted to assist in cremation and memorial service expenses, please consider sending support HERE or by mail. Was born to eternal life on Monday, June 10, 2024 at the age of 86 and reunited with her loving husband Glen E. Dawursk Sr., who preceded her in death. Loving mother of Glen Jr. (Donna), Cheryl (Marc) Rybka, and Scot. Dear grandmother of Amanda, Amy, Arica, Sarah, Bryan, Alyson, Samantha, Ryan, David, Emma and Matthew. Great grandmother of Roman, Finn, Aria, Paxton, Lincoln, Vienna, Lochlan, Earl III and a new grandson due in December. Sister of the late Walter (Doris) Schmidt, and sister-in-law of Dale, Karen, Lee and Leeann. Further survived by nieces, nephews, and many relatives and friends.

Lorri had a deep love for animals and raised Japanese Chins and rabbits for many years. She worked as a veterinarian tech and was also very active in the family owned real estate company, which consumed many hours of her and Glen’s time. She enjoyed watching mysteries and game shows, her animals, orchids, strawberry shakes, fish sandwiches, and anything with chocolate. She will be missed.

Burial and A Celebration of Life is planned for August 10, 2024 which would have been Lorri and Glen's 68th Wedding Anniversary.

Dean Martin Zastoupil, 69, formerly of Dickinson, ND died Thursday, May 30 in Union Grove, Wisconsin. He is survived by son Brendan and wife Kristin Zastoupil and grandsons Bryton and Kolton of Forney, TX, daughter Crystalyn Zastoupil of Dickinson, ND, daughter Nalani and husband Rob Robbins and grandson Jack and granddaughters Raylith and Veronica of Dickinson, ND, daughter Tiffany and husband Jamie Zentz of Fargo, ND, and step-son Justin Steckler of Dickinson, ND. He was preceded in death by his son, Kenton Zastoupil, parents Albert and Olga Elenor Zastoupil, brother, Albert Zastoupil, and sisters Shirley Nandory and Sally Pfeifer.

Susan was United in marriage to the late John Ward April 15th, 1972 in Wauwatosa Wisconsin.

Susan loved the Milwaukee Brewers and listening to 50’s and 60’s rock and roll. Most of all she deeply loved her family.

Susan J. Ward is survived by her loving Daughter Kari Ann (Jeff Moy) and dear Sons, John (Wendy Ward), Mike (Wendy Ward), and Charlie Ward.

Susan has 1O wonderful, loving Grandchildren: Alyssa (John Tomkiewicz), Jeffy, Trevor, Justin, Aubrey, Brandon, Thomas, Wyatt, Paydon, MAaliyah.

1 great beautiful Great Grandchild Maeve. Loving Sister Patti (Bob Grove) Nephews; Danny Grove, Stevie Meske, Brandon Meske, and all The Ward side of the family.

She was proceeded in death by her loving husband John P. Ward, Thomas Meske (Father) Jeanne Meske (Mother), Steve Meske (Brother), and (Granddaughter) Marissa Ward.

Micheal Louis Boone, born April 23 1959, died April 4, 2024. Micheal was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Louis Boone, and his brother David Boone who died in 2007.

Micheal is survived by his mother Joanne, brothers Melvin Jr. of Madison, WI, Richard, Dimitri, Daniel and Stacey (Kawana); and sisters Sandra (Quin) Homontowski of Wyoming, Marie Boone and Wanda Boone; and children Micheal Griffin and Shieata Griffin, and half-siblings Dale Watkins, Ernest Watkins, Paul Watkins, of Rockford, IL and Kim Vance of Beloit, WI.

Micheal worked as a cook most of his life, he also he loved being with family, mainly cooking on the grill. He also cleaned cars. When Mike got sick ,he remembered the things he learned as a child, for example: you must be born again. So that is what he did. Accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, before passing away April 4th 2024.

Micheal is remembered as a man who enjoyed celebrating and having fun. No one honored the day his mother gave birth to him more than Micheal. He often celebrated by renting a limo and dressing up in a suit, tie, and a brim. He was the life of the party and had a generous spirit. We all will miss him and keep him in our memories.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Sweet Communion Church, 3765 N. 35th St, Milwaukee, on May 17th at 4pm.

It is with profound sadness that the family of Cheryl Lynn Schmitt announce her peaceful passing on April 14, 2024, at the age of 72 years.

Cheryl will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 49 years, Lee; children Lorie (Mike) Stasik; grandchildren Justin (Tarra), Tyler (Jasmine); great granddaughter Brooklyn; nephews Jim (Jenni) Young, Dave (Kim) Erickson, Mike (Todd Kaun) Young, and Mitchell Erickson; and many family members and friends.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents James and Lorinda Young; siblings Lee James “Butch,” Linda; and sister-in-laws Rosemary “Rosie”, and Sally.

Cheryl was born on October 9, 1951, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She shared a special bond with her father, as they both celebrated birthdays on October 9th. Growing up in Milwaukee, Cheryl graduated from Lincoln High School in 1969.

In 1972, she found love in East Troy during a summer excursion. It was there that she met the love of her life, Lee. On December 20, 1974, Cheryl and Lee exchanged vows, beginning a journey of 49 years of cherished marriage. Cheryl and Lee were soul mates and always together on an adventure. Their travels took them fishing in Canada multiple years, where they returned with tales of unforgettable memories. Cheryl enjoyed snowmobiling and was an honorary member of the Lake Beulah Drift Skippers Snowmobile Club. Cheryl really loved attending her local snowmobile club events as well as the Walworth County Snowmobile Alliance events, and Association of Wisconsin Snowmobile Clubs Conventions and Workshops. It was through those events she cherished all the wonderful friendships made. At their cherished cabin, Cheryl found solace in hunting, fishing, and the tranquility of nature. Cheryl retired from Briggs and Stratton in 1994. Cheryl and Lee then moved to St Germain, WI, before returning to East Troy/Eagle to be closer to their family.

There are several things Cheryl will be remembered for such as her laughter, kindness, and fun-loving attitude. She had immense pride and adoration for her grandsons. She delighted in their laughter, accomplishments, and the special bond they had. Cheryl’s favorite trip was to the ocean for the first time in 2013 and she fell in love with Myrtle Beach. She spent hours collecting shells and revealing in the sea’s beauty. She often talked of returning to the ocean. She really enjoyed her annual family trips. If you did not know, Cheryl was an animal lover! She loved spoiling her animals as well as others, she always had a special “pay day” for them each week. She will be deeply missed!

In 2022, Cheryl bravely began her battle with cancer. Lee remained her steadfast companion, offering comfort, care, and unconditional love until the very end. His unwavering devotion was a testament to the depth of their bond.

The family extends heartfelt appreciation to Advocate Aurora Health Care - Summit Cancer Care, Dr. Siegel and his care team; and the ProHealth Hospice Care team (Jody, Meg, and Laura) for their compassion and dedication.

In honor of Cheryl's memory, memorial contributions can be made to her family.

Yvonne Mary Attonito (nee Kiedrowski) was a caring daughter, loyal sister, and loving mother. She was kind, always ready to help and do what she could to support her family and friends. She leaves a legacy that embodies resilience, education, engagement, and global travel.

Yvonne was preceded in death by her parents, Bernadine Rose (nee Lince) and Edward Andrew Kiedrowski, Sr., and her brothers, Edward, Jr. (also Katherine,) and her twin, Neil. Her parents both grew up in the valleys of Trempealeau County and eventually settled in a home on Johnson Street in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

Yvonne attended Aquinas High School and upon graduation in 1954, she left the area for business school in Nebraska. Soon after, she secured a civilian job with the US Navy and moved to Washington DC, where she and seven women shared a boarding house.

Yvonne married Ralph Attonito on June 14,1958 and moved to New York City where they started their family. In 1966, they moved to South Milwaukee, Wisconsin and expanded their family with two more children: Christopher (Kelli), Diona, Lisa (H. Ercan Örnek), Allison, and Catherine (David Gillitzer).

As a life-long learner, when her youngest child started kindergarten, Yvonne enrolled in one class at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee that launched an exploration in a range of subjects. She studied psychology, philosophy, logic, sociology, geography, nutrition, and much more. After divorcing in 1981, she focused on a degree, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1986. Yvonne worked as a public health nurse in her community for over 20 years. She was an advocate for youth, and often befriended the new mothers and elderly clients she served.

Yvonne had a passion for learning and sharing that knowledge. She was a dedicated listener of NPR gaining global perspective, and an avid reader of the newspaper from which she regularly clipped relevant articles to share with her children, their friends, and others. Yvonne visited: Italy, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Russia, Spain and more! She felt fortunate to explore many of the places that piqued her interest. These experiences further cemented her belief in the need to be vigilant in a democracy. Yvonne continued serving her community throughout retirement, volunteering at the election polls.

Committed to home-cooking and quality time with family in the kitchen, Yvonne regularly made and taught many how to make granola. Additionally, she was known to modify recipes from time to time based on what she had in the pantry. Living independently in her single-family home, Yvonne enjoyed all seasons, especially summer, with perennial flowers and an annual vegetable garden.

In addition to her children and their spouses, Yvonne shared a special relationship with each of her nine grandchildren: Casey, Ryan, and Alyssa Attonito, Anthony and Michael Örnek, Isabel and Madeline Stang, and Nolan and Morgan Gillitzer.

With heartfelt gratitude for Maria, Denise, and Aida, dedicated caregivers who supported Yvonne in her final months at home where she died peacefully.

A memorial gathering is planned for Sunday, May 19, 2024 at the Woman's Club of Wisconsin from 11:30 AM – 2 PM, with brief remarks at Noon.

Memorial gifts made to the South Milwaukee Public Library and the Women’s Fund of Greater Milwaukee are greatly appreciated.

Barbara Corney Mae Fischer, age 84 passed away peacefully at her home in River Hills on March 26th 2024.

She was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to her parents Arthur and Lily Hoffmann. Barbara graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School and resided in River Hills for 84 years.Her career starting off as a Bank teller at North Shore, McDonald’s in Bayside and ended as a bookkeeper for Grob Inc. in Grafton.

In 1969 she was united in marriage to Paul Fischer. In 1969 Sean (son) and 1972 Matthew (son) were born.

After retiring she loved planting at various churches, and her house and feeding dog, Colypso. She loved mowing lawn and shoveling snow. Barbara had a strong faith in the Lord.She loved having breakfast at Family Table Restaurant in Brown Deer with family and BLTs at Cousins.

Preceding in Death, her parents, husband, Paul; sister Maddie; brother Roy.She is survived by her devoted son Matthew (Christina), son Sean (Veronica) and grandchildren DeAnna(Tye) and Mikaela. She is also survived by various nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life will be done at a later time.

Thomas George Mueller

Thomas George Mueller, 76, died peacefully at home on March 25. He was born in Somers, Wisconsin on September 3, 1947, the eldest of eleven children of Edwin and Marcella (Thomas) Mueller. He married Bonny Jo (Hammel) Mueller at St. Sebastian’s Church in Sturtevant, Wisconsin on June 1, 1985.

Tom grew up on the 100-acre family farm and attended high school at Saint Catherines in Racine, graduating in 1965. He started college at St. Norbert before being drafted into the Army in 1970, where he served as an MP in Japan. After an honorable discharge, Tom finished his degree at Dominican College of Racine.

Both avid activists, Tom met Bonny at the 1984 Democratic Caucus; they soon married and raised their children in Oconomowoc. Tom was a devoted, compassionate husband and father. He was an integral part of the local Huntington’s Disease community during Bonny’s life, serving on boards and leading support groups. Tom was a loving caregiver for Bonny, who passed away peacefully in 2015 in her childhood home. Somewhat obstinate in his ways and with a strong personality, Tom enjoyed getting a rise out of people, but he cared deeply for his loved ones. Tom spent the last couple years back in the family homestead with his two black cats. He both regularly played and taught Sheepshead, and enjoyed the country life full of family and friends.

Tom was preceded in death by his loving wife and parents. He is survived by his three sons: Daniel Mueller, Theodore Mueller, and Andrew Mueller (Lorelei D’Huyvetter). He is further survived by ten siblings: Mike (Vernay) Mueller, Mary (Mark) Reinhart, Ellen (Emil) Pfenninger, Bill (Audrey) Mueller, Mark (Barbara) Mueller, Jane Powell, Steve Mueller, Tim (Sally) Mueller, Donna (Ben) Wilson, and Beth (John) Schumacher, along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at the family farm, 220 Old Green Bay Road, Kenosha, WI on Saturday, April 6 starting at 2 PM. Words of remembrance are welcome and encouraged; eulogies will start at approximately 3 PM. Michael Ray Belke, age 52, left this world on March 11th, 2024. He was born August 30th, 1971, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Preceded in death by his parents Jim and Shirley (Schreck) Belke, his brother-in-law Jeff Sossong and his nephew Joshua DuEll. Michael was the proud father of Kayla Erickson, Kaitlin Belke, and Michael Belke. He is also survived by his former wife Cindy Holaus and his significant other Amy Ruggles. Further survived by his sisters Mary (John)

Knepel, Debbie Belke, Shelly Sossong, Sheila (Tim) DuEll, Dawn (Mike) Frankfurth, Lisa (Wayne) Salva, and brother James (Tracy) Belke, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael will be fondly remembered by his loved ones as a beloved father, brother, and great friend. He graduated in 1989 from Hamilton High School, where he played baseball and football, later coaching his children’s sports teams. Michael was also an avid fisherman, loved rottweilers and listening to 80s classic rock music. He was known as a jokester to all who surrounded him and will be missed beyond what words can describe. #40 is at peace now.

Romylos (Roger) Alvanos - was born to eternal life and entered the gates of Heaven on 3/7/24 at the age of 69. Romylos was born in Thessaloniki, Greece on October 22, 1954 to Theofilos and Despina Alvanos.

Romylos lived his childhood in Thessaloniki and came to America in 1968 as a teenager, thanks to the generosity of his Uncle and Aunt Alexandros and Anastasia Lazarides who served as his families’ sponsor. Romylos excelled in the game of soccer and joined a team with the Croatian Eagles as well as another Greek team where he could continue his passion and play in America. Romylos received the nickname of Roger through his friends where he worked as a teenager. After arriving in America, he continued his education and graduated from West Allis Central High School. From there he attended Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) where he became a welder. He maintained that career most of his adult life until he became injured. He eventually became involved with real estate rentals and continued in this business throughout the rest of his life.

Romylos was preceded in death by both of his parents, Theofilos and Despina and his uncle Alexandros. He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Tony (Tami) and Savas (Donna), his nephew and nieces, Tyson (Katie), Marissa (Chad), Victoria, Alexandra, and Erica, his great nieces and nephews; Christian, Valerie, Beau, Naomi and Daphne, his Aunt Anastasia and cousins Toula (Dean), Kostas (Diane), and Katina.

A service will be held at St. Joseph Church on Tuesday, March 19 at 11:00. St. Joseph’s is located about a 45 minutes south/west of West Allis at 10519 N. Main Street Richmond, Illinois 60071.

(nee Zdrojewski) The Lord called one of his angels home on Thursday, February 29th, 2024 at the age of 80. Loving wife of Thomas for 43 years. Devoted mother of Kelly (Gary Arrigo) Cullum, Jason (Andrea) Ploetz. Loving aunt of Kathy and Bill. Proud Grandma of Justin (Erica Winiger) Cullum, Kyle (Brittany Hall) Cullum. Great-grandma of Maddilyn, Ryleigh, Adaline, and Kinsley. Best friend of Judy Shapiro. Diana was a longtime and faithful member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Menomonee Falls, WI.

Diana spent 32 years working at Southeastern Youth and Family Services as a finance and human resources manager, and in retirement worked as a tax preparer at H & R Block. Diana loved spending her summers at her cabin in Buckhorn Campground in Mauston, WI surrounded by her many friends and neighbors.

School in Milwaukee. Daryl delivered construction lifts for AWP.

Daryl is survived by his wife, Colleen (Kind) Etzler of Menomonee Falls; daughter, Natalie Etzler; sons, Joel (Melissa) Etzler, Clayton (Lindsey) Etzler; grandchildren; Farrah Etzler, Oliver Etzler, Evan Etzler, Caleb Etzler, Owen Etzler, and Marie Etzler; close friends, John (Wendy) Waldbillig, Jim Sears, Gary Swanke; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother.

Ferdinand Harold Jones Jr., 88, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, fell asleep in death peacefully after a long illness on February 2, 2024. He was born on April 15, 1935, in Peoria, Illinois, to Ferdinand and Edna Jordan Jones.

Ferdinand was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Sylvia Ahlman and Joyce Jackson, his sons Keith Harold Jones and Darby Ferdinand Jones Sr. and his grandson Barney Rogers Jr., granddaughters Ashley Brook Webster and Naiomi Marie Jones and great grandson Najee A. Thompson. He was also preceded in death by his close spiritual brothers and sisters: Michael Graham, Bill Provine, Marvin and Beverly Hall, Lawrence and Barbara Herbert, and Birdo Charles.

Ferdinand is survived by his sister, Cecilia Jordan of Peoria and by his first wife and high school sweetheart Emma Claire Jones of Peoria, and their three children: Steven Ferdinand (Shirley) Jones of Phoenix, Arizona; Wanda Fay (Gregory) Washington of Peoria; Lisa Gaye Jones of Milwaukee; and his son Charles Leland Webster of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Also surviving is the love of his life, second wife Susan Warren Jones of Milwaukee, and their children: Kevin Harold (Carmen) Jones aka Trace, Ferdinand Harold (Tracy) Jones III aka Max, Justin Harold Jones, Lydia Suzette Jones of Charleston, South Carolina, Lilah Annette Jones (Dani) of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, and raised grandson Darby Ferdinand Jones Jr. of Newburgh, New York.

Ferdinand is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and close spiritual family, including Elnora Johnson, Ruby (Sciphio) Scott, Laura Johnson, Patricia Johnson, Denver "Debbie" Hall-Smith, Mishael "Micki" Hall, J. Anna (James) Lutz, and Joe'l Hall. Mary Louise Graham McAdams, Derek (Philippa) Graham, Wyatt (Juanita) Graham and Shareea Graham, Beverly Charles, Robert Charles, Madeline Charles, Karen (Clarence) McGhee and Stephen Charles.

Ferdinand, known as Mr. Gloss, had a successful career in the automotive industry. In 1976, he and his wife Susan founded American Auto Beauty SHOP, located on 13th and Meinecke. With a commitment to impeccable customer service, Ferdinand invested in tools and paint booths to set his shop apart as a premier establishment. One of his favorite tools was a CHIEF Frame Rack, which helped him excel in his craft. The business grew to two locations before moving to the East side at 2108 N. Farwell in 1985, where it became a Carstar Franchise. In 2002, Ferdinand purchased property at 3866 N. Fratney, which became the location he retired from. Ferdinand's lifelong passion for cars began when he worked alongside his father at Quality Auto Car Wash in Peoria, where he learned moxie the value of hard work and passed on this work ethic to his children.

Ferdinand was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses at the 52nd & Meinecke Kingdom Hall in 1964, along with his wife Susan. He raised his family at the Kingdom Hall on 13th & Atkinson before moving to Glendale and attending the North Shore congregation on Mequon Rd. In his later years, he attended the Merrill Park congregation with his son Kevin, daughter-in-law Carmen, and granddaughter Aurora, with whom he lived. Ferdinand's relationship with Jehovah was an important part of his life, and even in times of darkness and valleys of illness and inactivity, he sought Jehovah's friendship and remained faithful until the end.

In addition to his professional and spiritual pursuits, Ferdinand had a variety of hobbies. He was a conversationalist and loved sharing historical facts and knowledge. His memory for cars was uncanny, with an ability to recall details about makes, models, features, manufacturers, and trim designs. Ferdinand enjoyed fishing and took advantage of every opportunity to spend time on his BOAT, exploring local lakes like Lulu Lake, Oconomowoc and Pewaukee. He was also a skilled handyman and with the help of his wife Susan, remodeled all three floors of their house on 3823 N. 9th Street. One of his favorite installations was a wood STOVE, which he became absolutely obsessed with. Ferdinand also took pride in his hobby of wine making and delighted in his annual harvest.

Ferdinand Harold Jones Jr. will be remembered as a hardworking, intelligent, and gregarious man. He loved his family dearly and generously shared his love for history, music, and singing. His dedication to his craft and his faith in Jehovah were evident throughout his life. Ferdinand will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Steven Scott storlie, age 58 born in the sunny beautiful state of California on December 9th, 1965 to the parents of Linda Kelly and Darrell Storlie. Was found unresponsive at his home in Randolph Wisconsin on Tuesday morning February 6th 2024.

He was preceeded in death by his Great Aunt Anne who helped raise him, his loving father and mother. Along with many other loved ones.

He is survived by his children, Aimee Aumock, Megan O'Clair and Elizabeth Devolites. Along with 10 grandchildren, Aimee and Jason Aumock 5 children Alexander, Evelyn, Isaiah, Elijah, Irelyn. Megan and Derek O'Clair 3 son's, Deklan, Madden, Brayden. Elizabeth and Alexander Devolites 2 children, Wolfrick, Ember.

He loved working with his hands, building multi million dollar homes during his 14 plus years of owning his own construction company. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed various activities, such as hunting, fishing, taking a boat out to feel the spray of the lake on his face. His dream was to spend out the rest of his days in Maine with his 3 grandson's, daughter and son-in-law. He was looking forward to knowing his grandchildren and possibly mending past relationships.

There will be no funeral.

James Joseph McDuffie, II

James Joseph McDuffie, II, affectionately known as J.J. or Mac passed away on January 24, 2024. He was born to Sara and James McDuffie, MD, in Washington, DC July 8, 1950.

J.J./Mac attended St. Marcus Lutheran School and Wisconsin Lutheran High School where he participated in football, wrestling, track, jazz band, marching band, L Club, and Electronics club. He attended the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse, the University of Wisconsin - Madison and MSOE.

J.J./Mac had many interests and loves including scuba diving, auto racing, guitars, music, collecting coins, collecting miniature race cars, greeting cards, photography and much, much more. He loved watching old TV, westerns ☺, NCIS, Miami Vice, Law & Order and of course, Wisconsin Badgers football, Milwaukee Bucks and Green Bay Packers. He totally enjoyed Pepsi, Gummy Life Savers, Snickers, grits, Chinese food, pizza w/anchovies, peanut M&M’s & popsicles. Later in life, he developed an interest in the medical field, so he went back to school for nursing. Unfortunately, because of health issues he wasn't able to finish.

Being predeceased by our parents, and our brother David, J.J./Mac is survived by sisters Ruth (Chuck Marks) and Tamye (Dave Metzger). He was uncle to Alex, Kaelyn, Sara, Aliea, Jessica, and furry nephew Ziggy. He is further survived by his wonderful home caregivers, Gigi and Demetris and many, many close friends and racing buddies.

J.J./Mac was a hard and dedicated worker. He leaves a legacy of love, laughter, and service. His presence will be profoundly missed but his memory will continue to be a beacon of warmth and joy for all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Celebration of Life to honor J.J./Mac will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Anthony Raffone (Milwaukee, Wisconsin). He was born on December 12, 1961, and tragically passed away on January 3, 2024. Jeff left us as a hero, saving his wife from a fire. Being the animal loving person he was, he went back into the burning apartment

to rescue their cat and never made it out.

Jeff will be deeply missed for his strong and wicked sense of humor, his incredible musical talent, his very friendly demeanor, and his huge heart, especially toward the under privileged, children and animals. Jeff is survived by his wife, Colleen Phillips, his stepchildren, two sisters Gayla Glodoski and Tamara Hudson (Jeff), along with nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald & Donna Raffone, along with his older brother, Mark Raffone.

May Jeff finally find peace. Hopefully, he is not hounding Jimmy Hendricks, Prince BB King or even John Belushi to jam with him!

Jamie Hart, 70 years old, passed away peacefully in her home. She was born in Rothschild/Wausau, WI to Carol Cooper and John Sporri.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Cooper, father, John Sporri, grandmother, Margret Erdman, and best friend, Debra Neuman. She was a loving mother to Jenna Hart. She was also survived by her friends Beth Kohn and Jeanine Burhop.

She attended NorthCentral Technical College for Accounting and continued her education at Mount Senario College for B.S. Business Administration. In 1990, started working at Milwaukee Electric Tool as their Cost Accountant until 2008.

There will be no funeral but a celebration of life will be held at a future date.

She leaves behind her devoted brother-in-law Allan Schultz and sister-in-law Marianne (the late Richard) Dockter. Judy was preceded in death by her parents Edward and Elsie Kluessendorf.

Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, April 20th: visitation 10-11am with service at 11am at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 799 St. Paul Drive, Slinger, WI 53086.

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on November 12, 2023, at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Sondra (nee Oslin) for 12 years. Loving father of Branden Traxel-Wright, and Jenna (Douglas) With. Proud Papa of Liam, Kaeden, Mariah, Hayden, and Jaxon. Cherished son of Jimmy and Katherine Wright. Best friend of Hazel Mae. Preceded in death by his brother Christopher Wright, and his grandparents Jess and Marie Ferrell, and Johnnie and Bryant Wright. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOMES OAK CREEK CHAPEL, 9200 S. 27th St, Oak Creek, on Thursday, November 16th from 1:30pm – 3:30pm, followed by a funeral service at 3:30pm.

Teddy was a chef all over Milwaukee for many years, and he loved to cook. He especially enjoyed cooking Italian food and his favorite spicy peanut dish. After that Teddy was a CDL over-the-road truck driver. Teddy also loved to shoot off fireworks on the 4th of July. Teddy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Samantha A. Hemenway, 57, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, passed away in her home on September 7, 2023. Sam will be dearly missed by her family and many, many friends.

Born on July 12, 1966, Sam grew up in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and graduated from Waukesha South High School. She went on to college at UW-Waukesha and spent most of her career as a professional editor. She also earned a certification to teach English as a foreign language, and spent two years teaching in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

In addition to her international travels, Sam moved from Waukesha to Milwaukee, Seattle, and Chicago before returning to Milwaukee to live closer to her dad. Her boundless curiosity and love of books, music, cats, and art led her to build relationships and share knowledge with friends worldwide.

Sam could be counted on to bring her deep knowledge and sharp wit to conversations about anything — history, pop culture, the musical Hamilton, progressive politics, Idris Elba, cats, the back catalog of Queen, bread baking, the history of the British royal family, more cats, knitting, and did we mention Hamilton? Sam always did her research, had her facts straight, and remained true to her convictions. When she was interested in something, she learned it completely, and she’d be overjoyed if you wanted to know, too.

Sam's loyalty to and love for her friends and chosen family knew no bounds, including her Awesome Dad™ Rick Hemenway, “Lady Mom” Jill Bibler (The Pocket Doctor), and countless friends around the globe, whom she fondly referred to as "the people in my computer."

She is also survived by her mother, Kathleen Wilcox-Lamboy, half-sister Maya Snowden, uncle David Wilcox and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Ethel Wilcox, grandfather Phillip Wilcox, half-brother Brent Rooks, and uncles James and Paul Wilcox.

Brian Tessmann, 70, from Pewaukee, was called to his eternal home on Saturday, September 23. Brian was very appreciative and thankful for the many relatives and friends who visited, called, and said many prayers on his behalf throughout his battle with cancer.

Brian was a passionate outdoorsman from an early age. He loved hunting and fishing for any species that he could. He lived to hunt, and did so across Wisconsin and beyond throughout the U.S. Nevertheless, his true passions were traditional archery and hunting whitetails at the cabin. He also excelled at introducing archery to multiple younger generations - leaving a lasting impression on their hearts and souls.

Brian was not only an active traditional archer; he also dedicated his life to serving the archery community and preserving the history of archery in Wisconsin. He was the co-founder and past president of Wisconsin Bowhunting Heritage Foundation in Clintonville, WI; founder of Sportsmen Against Hunger; lifetime member of the Wisconsin Bowhunters Association; lifetime member of Wisconsin Traditional Archers; lifetime member of Wisconsin Buck & Bear Club; and member, past president, and board member of the Ojibwa Archery Club for decades, which was one of his favorite hangouts, along with the Dousman Gun Club for Thursday night sheepshead. Outside of Wisconsin, Brian was a nationally recognized lifetime member of the Professional Bowhunter Society, otherwise known as PBS, where he was very involved and served as a past councilman. He was well regarded and certified as a measurer for the Pope & Young and Boone & Crockett clubs and served for over 35 years helping hunters record and measure their harvest.

To help show their friendship and love, Brian’s bow hunting friends dropped off signed arrows while he was in hospice. These arrows will be made into an arrangement after the funeral service and we encourage anyone who shares his passion for archery to please feel free to add to the arrangement. Brian promised each friend “I will guide your arrow” as they were left behind.

Brian is survived by his brothers Bradley (Cary) and Brent (Kristin) and his nephews Jake (Madison) and Alex (Rhianna). He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Shirley (Dollase).

Funeral service will be held Monday, October 23, 2023, at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church, W240 N3103 Pewaukee Road, Pewaukee, WI 53072 with visitation at 10:30 and funeral at 11:00. Please feel free to dress casually, bolo ties and belt buckles are appropriate attire. Passed away on August 22nd, 2023 at the age of 62 years. Preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Arlene, his son Jake, his sister Patsy, and his dog Babee. Survived by his daughter Andrea, his sister Barbara(John), his brother Joe Zaharias, his nephews John(Melissa), Randy, and Joey, his ex-wife Lynn, and his cat Winnie. Also survived by friends and other relatives.

Kenny was a longtime employee of over 40 years at Acker Millwork and will be missed by his family and friends.

James Richard "Ricky" Crawford

January 28, 1960 – February 3, 2025

James Richard "Ricky" Crawford, 65, of Milwaukee, was taken from us far too soon on February 3, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Born on January 28, 1960, in Milwaukee, WI, Ricky was the youngest of four brothers and the ninth of ten siblings.

He is now reunited with his beloved parents, James V. and Fern (Schandel) Crawford, as well as his siblings Constance "Connie" (Jim Geary), Kathy "Katie" (Bob Paul), Jerome "Jerry," and Daniel "Danny." Ricky leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. He is survived by his sons, John, and Robert, and his grandson Jayce. He will also be deeply missed by his surviving siblings: Terry (Barbara), Linda (Luis Borda), Nancy (Wozniak), Debbra "Debbie" (Terry Tariq), and Julianne (Harris), special thanks to his Dear and loyal friend Lyn Bertanoli who stayed by his side with his family in his final days.

Beyond his immediate family, Ricky was loved by 27 nieces and nephews, 26 great-nieces and nephews, and 7 great-great-nieces and nephews. When we say, "We Are Family," we truly mean it.

A lifelong learner, Ricky pursued many different degrees, but his true passion was music. He was a talented multi-instrumentalist, yet the guitar was his greatest love. A proud Veteran, Ricky served as a Private Second Class in the United States Army and later dedicated his career to serving fellow Veterans, retiring from the Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center.

To Our Dear Brother: On behalf of your entire family, we know how much you loved us, just as we loved you. Each time we think of you, we’ll feel you near. When tomorrow starts without you, we won’t be far apart—because every time we think of you, you’ll be right here in our hearts.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the VA Medical Centers in both San Diego, CA and Milwaukee, WI for their compassionate and competent care they provided throughout Ricky’s short battle with cancer.

A memorial service will be announced via Zoom to accommodate family and friends from out of state. In lieu of flowers, it was Ricky’s wish to establish a trust fund for his grandson’s education.
