Mark Edward Hildebrandt, age 68, of Pell Lake, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2026 surrounded by the comfort of his home, after battling COPD and other related complications for the past 11 years.
Born on February 6, 1958 in Beloit, WI, Mark was the child of Waldemar and June. He attended Glidden Area Schools before earning his GED. He then began his career as a Union bricklayer, working for both Butler Construction and JAC Construction, where he took pride in his craftsmanship and dedication to his trade.
Mark will be remembered for his strong work ethic, his talent for creating beautiful furniture, and his lifelong devotion to the Green Bay Packers. Mark enjoyed forestry and found great joy cultivating the Earth. He enjoyed riding his 4-wheeler with his best friend Ryu, in tow. He found peace in his gardens and joy in his family and friends. Among his greatest joys was the special bond he shared with his only daughter, Renee. He loved watching his boys, Luke and TJ, compete in different sporting events throughout their childhoods, such as wrestling, football, and baseball. He was truly happy when he had a drink in his hand and the Packers were in the lead.
He is survived by his three children, Lucas Hildebrandt of Pell Lake, Wisconsin, Renee (Mercedes) Hildebrandt of McHenry, Illinois, and Tayler Hildebrandt of Chandler, Arizona; the mother of his children, Vicki Hildebrandt of Pell Lake, Wisconsin; his sisters, Theresa (Dean) Baumgartner of Duluth, Minnesota, and Tammie (Steven) Park of Glidden, Wisconsin; as well as many other beloved family members and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Waldemar and June; his brother, Alfred; his half-siblings Helene, Waldemar Jr., Kathryn, and Virginia; as well as his nephew, David Hildebrandt. He is now reunited with his favorite blue-eyed husky, Ryu.
