Although families can get a customized quote instantly on our website, many families just want to get a general idea of the typical cost of cremation and what factors influence the price. That’s why we created this general price list, so families can get instant, transparent pricing.



The cost to get cremated can vary, but we strive to keep our standard price of cremation accessible for all families. When it comes to cremation, how much it costs is determined mostly by the additional service you require. Our basic cremation cost starts at $985, unless you opt for a casket. The cost can increase depending on additional services needed such as embalming, family viewings, or expedited services. The average cost of cremation in most cases ends up to around $2,000, as many families request additional services. The average price of cremation can increase further with our premium cremation service and expedited transfers, but our base offerings keep the cost of being cremated low. 

For those seeking a simple cremation cost, our direct cremation options are designed to be budget-friendly. For families looking to minimize expenses, the average cost of cremation without service is often the lowest, making it the most favorable option. The cost to cremate a person includes essential services like transportation, washing and disinfection, and placing and storing remains in a container (details below)

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. lf legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Direct Cremation

Price Range $985 - 1,840

A Direct Cremation includes a portion of the services of the funeral director and staff, transfer of remains from the place of death (within 25 mile radius), washing and disinfection (which is a legal requirement in Wisconsin), placing cremated remains in a selected container, transportation to a crematory, and a temporary container to hold the cremated remains. If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials, with or without an outside covering. The containers we provide are made of fiberwood.
